TEMPERATURE'S RISING…and it had nothing to do with the weather! For when hurricane hunter Kate Hargrave met hotshot test pilot Dave Scott, everything started heating up. But it was a warming trend cautious Kate—once burned by her philandering ex—was determined to ignore at all costs. Because Dave's love-'em-and- leave-'em reputation was a label she was finding all too familiar….Air force pilot Dave Scott had had an eye for the ladies to be sure—but that was in the past. A quick fun read from one of my favorite authors. ML has written for different Harlequin lines and other publishers. This is one of her older Desires. Her military romances are always authentic because she is retired Air Force. Recommended for fans of military romances.

3,5 sterren. Veel technische details waar ik niet op zit te wachten in zo’n romannetje, maar het einde was best nog spannend.

Not my type of "romance".

Guess I don't like romances where the hero and heroine start out as just 2 people f@cking*.

He's a man-slut, she knows it, doesn't like it, but wants to f@ck* him anyway, so she does.

Like I said, not my type of "romance".

Maybe it got better after their first one-night-stand, but after that inauspicious beginning to their "relationship", I decided not to stick around.

*crude word, but if the condom shoe fits...

Heroine is a weather expert. Hero is a test pilot. They’re both on a super secret test mission. Hero is a “ladies’ man,” heroine doesn’t trust them—especially since she has a figure that makes her a real target of “scorers”. But they do get together and fall in love anyway. Good story.

Good romance with effective world building. I felt like the author knew her "stuff" and the romance was spot on.
