Lev Vasilievich Tarasov (Russian: Лев Васильевич Тарасов) Was born in 1934. Graduated from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute in 1958 with a degree in Theoretical Nuclear Physics. Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1968), Associate Professor (1969), Professor (1983). In 1989-1992. - Head of the Department of Methods of Teaching Natural and Mathematical Cycle at the Moscow Institute for Advanced Training of Educators; in 1992-1998 - Head of the Department of Physics at the Moscow State Open Pedagogical University. In 1994 he was awarded the badge "Excellence in Public Education" for the development of a new educational technology "Ecology and Dialectics" (in Ukraine - "Ecology and Development") and scientific guidance of a pedagogical experiment on the practical implementation of technology.
