In English this is called 'Autumn Story' by Jill Barklem but in Japanese it's called 'Autumn Harvest in Wild Rose Village'. Wow.
The illustrations are a reminder of 'Frog and Toad' by Arnold Lobel with more usage of vibrant color but the watercolor style is apparent.
This is such a beautiful book in the Japanese language.
Unfortunately I don't think this is suitable for N5 :( It would probably take more than two hours to read this, so I'd recommend this for N3/N2. There's a mixture of hirigana, katakana, and kanji (with accompanying furigana).
