I have so many books at home, I have no idea where they came from or how long I've had them for. It's good to finally get into reading them all with Indy. Last night he said 'I love reading books'. Just what I like to hear.
Zigby the Zebra, and his friends Bertie Bird an African guinea fowl, and McMeer the meerkat while on a canoe trip down Mudwater creek spot a message in a bottle, which turns out to be a treasure map, and so begins the trio's adventure and hunt for treasure.
Zigby and his two friends McMeer and Bertie Bird found a map in a bottle and decided to follow the map that would lead them to the treasure. However, the treasure is on an island which means that they have to go by a boat. Despite getting into a spot of bother, the three friends eventually make it to the island.
I would say this book is for a slightly older child as the story is longer and think a younger child would lose concentration. I think this book is suitable for the book box in school. I do think children would enjoy this story at the end of the day but because it is a slightly thicker book, you would have to make sure that there is a sufficient amount of time to complete the book. I think this book would be appropriate for ages six and upwards.
