My favorite of Paul J. Willis' chapbook collections. Includes several of his trademark response-to-nature poems, but most are autobiographical, almost epistolary poems of his life and teaching.
My favorite poems in the collection include "Filius," "Late-Winter Wedding Poem," and the hilarious "Class Evaluation," where he poeticizes student evaluations of his classes and teaching.
