This is the first part to the sequel, In My Rearview Mirror. Behind The Veil starts out with Margo and Jefferson having been married for twenty five years. They have four children and as far as Margo is concerned they have a beautiful life. Unbeknownst to Margo, Jefferson is involved in some shady dealings. stealing money from his clients, cheating with their next door neighbor and also one of Margo's good girlfriend's. There are some crooked cops involved in the mess going on and it all turns very ugly, with a hit being put on Jefferson's life and the dirty copy's life. In the end Margo decides that she will forgive her friend, she still loves Jefferson and will stand by his side. Things don't actually turn out for the better though, as Margo has some tricks up her sleeve as well. Lots of other things going on in the book also, the one thing Margo could not forgive was the fact that the next door Neighbor had a baby by her husband. Can you say deal breaker? Read: July 2013
