More non-traditional exercise and health advice. Completely valid and scientific although this book does not include that, nor cares about it. Pavel is all about the effectivness. Who cares if it is proven as long as it works. And it does. PNF stretching has been around for a while and is just now entering gyms, 10 years after he wrote this book.

This book just did not resonate with me. The stretches seem to more geared for young people and specifically those involved with weight training and karate, Also, there is no clear explanation of the importance of stretching for the general public. The photographs and explanations of the stretches are poor and the overall presentation is unclear. I would not recommend this book.

I read this almost ten years ago, it completely changed the way I train. Highly recommended.
