I liked this volume better than the first and I was more interested in Ryotaro than I was in all the music school characters being introduced last time. I wasn't happy to have the last part of the book dedicated to some old story she did rather than the next measure of the story going into the contest. If I happen to see more of these volumes at a library I might pick them up but if I never read more of the story I don't think it'll be any loss to me.

Ryo with kahoko relationship, there must be something between them, ryo always there when kahoko is in danger for example she fall down from the stairs n Rryo grabbed her just on time plus also help kahoko when she is in rough time. Kazuki try to entered the girls room even though he doesn't know that is the girls changing room. I'm glad kahoko wear clothes or not kazuki might see her naked.

This volume is better than the first. It’s slowly setting the competition and possible love triangle up. I really hope soccer boy will play the piano with the main girl. However, I think she’ll end up with Ren in the end but we shall see. The side story came out of nowhere, but it was cute. With the music aspect, I think this might be better consumed as an anime. Anyways, 4.5/5.

4.5/5 i am loving this series and not regretting buying 4 volumes at once (unlike a certain manga which i shall not name *cough .hack// cough* and the short story at the end was actually both cute and good, which I think is unusual!!!

This volume centers on Ryotaro alot. And, that's fine by me, as he was one of my favorite bishies in the anime, and also is in this manga as well. There's also a nice side story after the chapters as well.

Ryotaru is a great piano player, but he doesn't see any reason for him to play the piano, anymore.

Kohoko is walking by the music story, when she hears a beautiful sound. The sound turns out to be Ryotaru playing the piano. Since she loves the sound, she praises him and his musical abilities, which turns him off.
Later, Kohoko returns to the store to see the shopkeeper looking for something. Turns out that he is looking for videos of little Ryotaru playing the piano. Ryotaru--in the videos--displays an amazing amaount of talent, far beyond his years, so Kahoko cannot understand why he does not want to showcase his talents.

Kohoko wants Ryotaru to be her accompanist in the contest, but he refuses. However, she still gets one, in the form of a first-year music student name Shoji. Shoji is determined to be in the school's music contest in any way that she can, so she offers Kahoko her services.

In the final chapter, it is announced that the first round of the music contest has begun.

-------------------------------
The side story, *Tommorow Will Be Golden*, is about a young violinist, who lives her life in the same way that she plays the violin, carefree and pure. But, she is unsure of her abilities.

Can Mr. Kamiya convince her that she is indeed good enough to get a scholarship? And, can she bring back Mr. Kamiya's love for the violin?

4.25 Stars!

I officially have new favourite series, I might even finish it this year. I've said this before, but I love Kahoko as a protagonist, I think that she's wonderful and I love watching her dynamics with everyone else around her develop (Lili especially, I'm excited to see more of them!).

Okay, I haven't read the first one in a little while, so at first I was bored and like, "Why did I like the first book again?..." But then it hit me. It was all about the music. The second that was realized, my heart swelled. I love music so much and I thought, like I did the first one, that it was going to be a sappy harem anime. But it wasn't.
I kind of liked the short story at the end a little better.
It was all really good <3

One of my favorite things is a reverse harem type of series and this one did not disappoint. The correlation between each of the different boys and their musical instruments was excellent and I loved how music helped to progress the story line along. Hino was such a cute character!

Anime: One of my favorites! I loved all of the music!!!

Meh. I don't really care about Ryotaro, to be honest, and since this volume was mostly about him, it didn't really do it for me.
Still getting used to the artwork, but at least I'm getting to the point where I'm getting to know the characters by name a little more!
The one shot at the end was okay.

Hino has to pick a theme and play it on the violin. But before she can practice and pick a theme, she finds out something about Ryo. It was good. Nothing much happens yet. Though maybe in the next volume. Still liked this volume though.

I like it so far. Every time I saw the title of the music that has been played, I listened to it while I was reading it. Can't wait to watch the anime version!
