Plot: Momoko, who dreams of becoming an illustrator, finds employment in an ultra fast-paced office that specializes in designing pachinko parlors!! With the office running a yazuka-like business and employing a designer, who has a habit of suddenly stripping in the middle of the night, Momoko believes that the company employees are a bit... no, definitely eccentric!! She continues pulling all-nighters, unable even to return home... And in the midst of cigarette-filled fumes, where women's authority takes a step back, she asks herself, "Why am I here?"

This was such a nice read. I'm the type to run away from my problems so it was satisfying to see Nanase and Tagaya resolve their miscommunication the way they did in this volume.

Baixo a 1 estrella per la merda de final :( Un josei protagonitzat per una jove il·lustradora que aterra en una empresa de disseny de pachinkos amb un ambient laboral insuportable, inhumà i del tot esclavitzant. Per culpa de les hores extres i jornades d'empalmada gairebé no trepitja el pis del seu xicot i quan ho fa l'enxampa amb una noia més jove, amb la qual cosa ho deixa estar. Més tard s'interessa per un treballador del mateix edifici, però hi ha algun problema de comunicació, malentesos, reaparicions estel·lars de l'ex i separacions doloroses. Al llarg de tota la sèrie la noia es debat entre deixar la feina i oblidar-se de tot/tothom o seguir una mica més, però en el darrer volum quan la dicotomia és entre l'amor i l'oficina... la molt burra continua sent explotada amb una relació incipient a distància!!!!! Un altre gerro d'aigua freda a l'altura de Tokyo Girls, vol. 1... per què serà que les dones treballadores al Japó no surten mai ben parades? :/ Resposta: el puto patriarcat.

Manga que viene a representar un poco a la multitud de mujeres jóvenes que se han incorporado desde principios del siglo XXI al mercado de trabajo nipón. En este caso se trata de una muchacha que entra a trabajar en una empresa de diseño de salas de pachinko, cuyas condiciones laborales, tal y como se refleja aquí, resultan demenciales (básicamente uno vive, come, se lava, duerme y se enamora en la oficina, al menos espero que les paguen bien). La tesis es una combinación de los valores tradicionales del esfuerzo y la constancia y el trabajo en sí visto como una herramienta emancipadora y de crecimiento personal, parte fundamental de nuestra personalidad y de nuestro lugar en la sociedad. Lamentablemente estos temas se ven desplazados por una comedia romántica que toma los mandos a mitad del primer volumen y acaba diluyéndose en un enredo un tanto previsible. A pesar de esto y de que mi única aspiración política es la abolición del puto curro, es un tebeo simpático de dibujo agradable que se deja leer, al menos los dos primeros tomos.

I've said in the previous chapters that I could relate to the heroine, Momoko. Perhaps that's the reason why I like the manga so much hahaha. So in summary:

Momoko's first job was not what she really wanted. But she decided to stay because the company of her colleagues, her work and the office became her comfort zone. There was a time that her team leader accepted her resignation letter and advised her that even if she did not like her work for now but she had to respect it. She dreamed of becoming an illustrator still but she felt that she'd give 3 years to work as a designer.

In terms of romance: her ex-bf cheated on her (since she had no time for him anymore) and then met another mature man and got her heart broken again. And found her love again (geez, I like happy endings you know).

Esperaba más de esta historia, aunque ya había visto opiniones bastante dispares tenía expectativas y aunque no me ha parecido lo peor que he leído, para mí ha sido una lectura sin pena ni gloria.
No me ha aportado nada realmente, creo que podrían haber aprovechado más la trama del trabajo, el haber introducido personajes secundarios con una relación amorosa y que después se quedaran en nada, no sé.
La protagonista no termina de caerme bien la verdad, me ha gustado el hecho de que es una obra al completo bastante realista y ella también es un personaje muy real, pero no me convencen sus decisiones ni su actitud frente a algunas cosas. Su trama amorosa me ha parecido también un cero a la izquierda.
Si tuviera que recomendarla, probablemente no lo haría.
