I got this little book on sale for $5 at a small shop. It was perfect for reading in one bubble bath. The small size and lavish illustrations lend it to just such activities or for outdoor adventures!

Perhaps the book should be called "Auguste Renoir and Women: An Illustrated Glimpse" because that's most of what you'll find inside. It does pay particular attention to how much he loved women, what he thought was the perfect woman, and who his most famous models were. Very fun indeed if you appreciate the female form, but not so much if you are looking for an illustrated biography.

I still found it a delightful cookie of a read.

Astazi am vrea ca totul sa poata fi explicat si descris. Daca, totusi, s-ar putea explica si descrie un tablou, pictura n-ar mai fi arta.
