He's the last thing she expected and she has waited for him all her life!
It was written that her prince would be a mage, a warrior, and a saint. Instead he's a mercenary thief with a fondness for vice-filled dens and off-world wine. How can the sacred prophecy be wrong or is there more to Morgan ab Kynan than meets the eye?
Lady Avallyn has little choice and no time to ponder the possibilities of a mistake. She's the one woman who can save a twelfth-century mage whose demise turned the earth into a barren desert. And only one man can take her back into the past: the charismatic thief who may or may not be the fated Prince of Time.
But the reluctant thief and the resolute princess are followed by a ruthless villain who wants them both dead. Morgan and Avallyn will need more than skill, courage, and magic to survive in the ancient past, where an even greater danger awaits. They will need faith in each other and a trust born of a passion willing to sacrifice everything, even life itself, for love....

This book is basically "it may sound primitive and unscientific, but through the fairies, we could ask the time worms to help," and honestly, I love that.
This review is from: Prince of Time (The Chalice Trilogy) (Kindle Edition) This was book three of the trilogy and it did not disappoint. All the characters from the previous books were brought together to fight the final battle between light and darkness and good and evil. It has well-drawn characters and a fast-paced and intriguing plot just as the other books in the trilogy. The characters of the past and the future join forces to prevent an apocalyptic moment that would destroy all. True love remains central to the story and to the survival of all. The men and women fight side-by-side as equals without regard to their gender. I recommend this trilogy to all those who love fantasy and enjoy historical fiction about Druids.
Just not what I expected from the summary... Perhaps if I was more familiar with the author and her other works, I'd have expected this book to be much more fantasy in a sci-fi sort of way than anything else. But I was confused by the myriad of characters - it was tough to figure out a uniqueness and the base story that I was supposed to be following.
Sorry, I just couldn't get into it. So I skimmed my way through to the end, and overall, I just wasn't impressed.
This was the first book I'd read of it's kind that involved romance, time travel through wyrms, aliens, dragons, elves and a completely different take on the future. This book simply rocked and I will not part with my copy.
This is one of the worst novels I've come across. Romance literature disguised as fantasy, I expectantly picked it up but had to force myself to keep reading less than halfway through. Oh, and if you're gonna read this book then I hope you like 10-page intercourse descriptions.
I picked this book up at random at my local library several years ago. I had no idea what to expect but all in all, it was entertaining enough that I remembered it after all these years. I hope I can get my hands on a copy to reread this novel again.
I really liked this book! The story was really interesting and I liked the characters. I hope she continues to write novels in this world - I would like to see a book for Aja, and one for Shay.
This should not be labeled as "historical romance". It's historical fantasy / paranormal romance. It might have been good, but it's not my thing, so I didn't get past the prologue.
i actually didnt read this.the title sounded cool, and thats about it.the style of writing isnt easy to read.and i can tell i wouldnt like it. i wont pick this up again.
Teil3: In der Zukunft nähert sich die Menschheit dem Ende. Aber da kommt der Zeitritter und Zusammen mit der Pristerin gehen sie zurück in die Vergangenheit um Darkhum zu besiegen.
The third book in the riveting series was perfect. Wonderful star destined lovers with a world to save. Kept me glued from the first paragraph to the very last.
