Despite reading so long ago, I can't believe I didn't remember any of this! The conclusion still felt new to me. But reading really brought back memories of reading in high school.

Holly has had enough of Alex and refuses to be part of his cult, but like the toxic man child he is Alex refuses to give up!

This book is a satisfying end to a great trilogy!

What I Did Like:
+Ah, yes, an Egypt connection in a YA book from the 90s … this didn’t help my obsession, I’m sure! Honestly, it’s used decently and fits the story. Loved to see it.
+Past life flashback scenes that work. Sometimes these can be overly cheesy or heavy handed but in this book, they work! They’re obvious connections to what’s happening NOW but in a fun way.
+The major characters all work and are well written. Holly, Jason, and Alex have clear motivations and their actions match those. They pull the story forward to its conclusion at all times.

Who Should Read This One:
-This is REALLY hard to find but if you’re a fan of paranormal shape shifting fantasy stories and you see this trilogy somewhere … get it!

My Rating: 4 Stars
The conclusion might be the best book in the series.

i read this book 7 years ago.. haha! but man... i still remember it until today. i really liked how the story goes. it's interesting, to say the least. it's a pity that alex had to die, though. ;P

the book is mainly for your adults, as far as i can remember. there were lots of dialogs and less description, and it made it much easier for me to read the book, as my english was not very good then. (english is not my 1st language) whatever it is.. i think it's a very nice book indeed!

I actually didn't like this book very much. It didn't have the same feeling as the first two and began to delve too much into past lives as a plot subject.

The ending was relatively good at least, and I'd still count the entire series as a worthwhile read for anyone interested in some older books about shapeshifters.

I read this series in middle school. I remember really liking the books then. I have the first two, but I can't find this third one...
