I met Joe when I was in Florida, where he (long story short) told me bits of his story and also gave me this book. I’m extremly touched by it in many ways.

I am a Vietnam veteran of the 25th ID, in the same period the book was written. In fact I may have been one of the infantry troops that he carried. Angel's Wing is an accurate portrayal of combat in the Angel's wing. Thank you Joe from writing our story.
