When Jane falls and ends up unable to continue her job as chef at the B&B she and her two sisters own, the other two step up to help. However, neither of them cook very well. So, a temporary substitute is brought in. Jane is left feeling helpless and even a bit jealous. Her sisters gain a new appreciation for how much Jane does for the Inn.

Another nice book in this wonderful Christian series.

I WILK be very sad when I finish this series. This book was a very nice story. It is world we all wish we lived in. Friends, family and strangers all coming together to brighten a day or lighten a load. A good read to lift your spirits.

God works as we wait. Each of the Howard sisters learns new things as they change roles while Jane’s leg heals. They also learn to accept others help.

LOVED it. Loved it.

Jane falls and injures her leg and has to stay off it for 3 weeks.

Each of the sisters take over tasks that others usually do and they all see what it is like to walk in their sister's footsteps. Louise and Alice struggle with what to do about the food because neither of them likes to cook or does it well. Alice struggles with an absentminded guest and home maintenance problems. Jane is going crazy being stuck resting AND she is trying to deal with the finances while she is laid up, and she hates math. So, she keeps putting it off.

Each sister really gets a sense of what the other sister does during the day and they appreciate each other even more than they did before.

A light quick read. The characters are sweet the relationships are chaste and the drama revolves around the colorful mishaps that come from running a bed & breakfast. For a book that included so many food related plot points, I am skeptical that the authors did any research into the world of professional cooking but the story works in its simplicity.

This is definitely one of the best books of the Grace Chapel Inn series that I've read so far. The writer managed to have strong plot lines going with each character--and meshed it all together well. It was enjoyable without being preachy.
