Thoughts From The Inside is the debut poetry collection by Casey Carter. For most people, including Casey, the initial lockdown was only meant to be for a few weeks and working from home. This spiraled into over a year of not being able to really see anyone and being left with your own thoughts.
This book explores finding comedy in the little things, observations of a council estate, and general silliness. This book is not intending to be deep, but a more relaxed and silly exploration of the world during a global pandemic. The poems featured (as well as thoughts on certain situations) are a mixture of autobiographical, semi-autobiographical, and complete & utter nonsense. It is up to you to figure out which is which or just take it all as gospel.
