Small Talks on Big Questions: A Manual to Help Explain Christian Doctrine

Rate this book
"'Small Talks on Big Questions' is a treasure! I cannot think of any title published in recent times which so captivatingly and soundly matches up a Bible story with a story from church history, as this book. This is one of the richest volumes parents have at their disposal, both to train their children in solid doctrine and to whet an appetite for church history. And to have the two volumes compiled together into one will only increase the great usefulness of this outstanding tool!" ~ Dennis Gundersen / Grace & Truth Books

We home school and we needed a book for our children's Bible Class. After I met Selah, I found out she had written this book. I ordered it, and it was just what we needed. Out of all the curricula we have tried, this was my children's favorite. Terrific book. Holds their attention and makes them think. I highly recommend it.

An excellent book for teaching children doctrine/catechisms. I especially loved the well-written stories for each chapter addressing a set of catechism questions...one scriptural, one historical. The questions at the end of each story are thought provoking and open the doors for further conversations. Well done, I highly recommend it!

A dear friend of mine wrote this book with one of her best friends and I must say I love it for teaching doctrine/catechisms to my children. Though I've been through it w/all of my children, it is most beneficial for the upper elementary student and beyond. They weaves historical figures along w/biblical ones. There are questions and catechism to go through and review with your children. It is especially friendly for those that are educating their children classically. I highly recommend this book for your family!
