The edition I read was called "Ellen Kelly - An Historical Novel as Told By Ellen Kelly". Same author and ISBN, so I assume it's the exact same book.
It claims to be written from the recollections of Ellen Kelly herself. She died 60 years before this book was published, but if true, it's an interesting perspective of her son, Ned Kelly, the Australian outlaw. I read it a long time ago, but my memory is that it gave the impression, via her clumsy defences and explanations, that he was more of a criminal than a hero.
