We must become presence based or we will become more irrelevant.

What s great read, one I’ll return to. It’s life changing message and teaching transforms the way one considers church.

The presence of God is vital to the church and without His presence we will certainly only look like the Body of Christ with no real life. The comparison between Martha and Mary brought some thought provoking questions for our church. I do hope that just as Mary may have questioned the Lord's delay in coming to help in their time of need we also have the same love and devotion she felt as she fell at His feet. Come Lord Jesus come!

Good read. Great biblical exposition and creative approach to church. Addresses the inundation of 'models' of church, which many of us are weary of today. Yet, what Teykl is offering is still another model, albeit worthy of attention. All in all a good reminder for those in the church, esp. leaders, that church is primarily about God.

I love this...Teaches churches to seek God's face, not just His hand...changes the mindset from a people-based church to a Presence-based church!
