Love Hurts by Kiriko Nananan. Through the memories, of money, perversions, nostalgia, doubt, temptations, discoveries, and jealousy Kiriko Nananan explores the love in all of its cruel splendor. A list of emotions that adjoin at the same time the love and the pain, and that, in not little occasions, constitute the invisible truth of the visible thing. Its irritated sensibility taken in the air by its soft and clean line, is the letter of recommendation that it us brings back to the Japanese authoress conferred a doctorate in poking in the deepest of our feelings and making them exhibited flush with skin. Its last work reminds to us imperiously that there will come the day in which we will be hurt. Like that is the love.

Love hurts is the name of the book. This book talks about love, like when somebody hurts you. It is about when somebody very important hurts you because you love her or him to much. Then he or she breaks your heart; that's when love hurts. This book is a help book to teach you how to deal with a broken heart. The reader is the main character in the book.

The story take place like in a park, house, and school. Many people hurts others just because they don't like each other. No matter what time, what place, just some people hurt others. The two main themes in this book are love and heartbreak.

The example of this book is not to break hearts or don't hurt your love because nobody knows when somebody going to come and break your heart. So when that happened it will hurt a lot because I already feel like my ex-girlfriend did that to me. That's so sad.

I would recommend it to high school students who have dealt with heartbreak and love.

Despite the very minimalistic style, the author manages to tell a lot through subtext. She doesn't need to spell everything out because, we who have had their hearts broken before, understand.

En este volumen la autora nos presenta una serie de historias cortas, la mayoría no relacionadas entre sí. Algunas me han gustado más que otras. La mayoría son sombrías de una u otra forma, mostrando una visión bastante descorazonadora de las relaciones humanas, cubiertas de miseria. No se esconde de mostrar cosas desagradables, mostrar dinámicas tóxicas, sexo, desengaño o infidelidad.
El estilo de dibujo no es de mis favoritos, pero está cargado de personalidad en su uso de las viñetas y en los trazos casi deshechos en muchas de sus historias. Los personanes se parecen entre sí y a menudo todo parece un boceto, pero cuadra perfectamente con las historias.
Ha habido varias historias que me han gustado mucho y en general he disfrutado conociendo una nueva autora.

Doloroso, hace honor a su título, si has amado o simplemente te ha gustado alguien inevitablemente te identificarás con alguna de las historias sino es que con todas ellas, algunas duelen más que otras, las que tengan más que ver con tu experiencia personal.

El arte es "Minimalista" lo suficiente para transmitir estas emociones pero sin ser extremadamente detallado en los protagonistas de las historias, esto hace que te centres más en lo que te están contando y no en lo complejo o lo bello del arte.

Duro, impactante. Incluso cruel.
El análisis de diferentes situaciones y sentimientos vinculados al amor que hacer Kiriko Nananan obligan a reflexionar. A veces, a sentir. Porque es difícil no verse reflejado en alguno de los relatos que componen este libro, si no es en muchos. He tenido que releer alguno para poder asimilar toda su profundidad. Y el dibujo, minimalista, ahonda en esos sentimientos y los hace más afilados.

Le trait est très beau, les cadrages aussi, avec ce parti pris des 3/4 dos, d'en montrer très peu. Y a beaucoup de pudeur tout en montrant des choses crues de relations entre personnes.
J'aurais aimé un peu moins de tristesse sur les relations amicales entre femmes, qui sont toutes un peu tristes, là où on voit la lumière sur certaines histoires d'amour.

One of the best Joseis I've ever read .
I'm insanely I love with the art by it being so unconventional. I understand that it might be offsetting to some.
The stories are painfully real and seem like it could happen to you or your neighbor ,I like the rawness of the stories, the sharp truth to the characters action.
The story telling is bittersweet in its own ,it offers a certain magic to the truths of relationships.
