我在監獄蹲了十年，和女犯們日出而作，日落而息，從二十六歲到三十六歲——比某些夫妻的婚齡長，比很多小倆口還親。那裡，外表平靜如鏡，其實，終日翻江倒海。

劉月影，因殺夫而入獄，殺人、支解、裝罈，情節怵目驚心、讓人不寒而慄，但心境卻百轉千折。

楊芬芳，犯的是通姦罪：她與青梅竹馬的鄰居熱戀，卻在欺騙及半推半就下嫁給強勢陌生的軍人。故事就在就在苦戀與軍婚、性愛與強暴、炙熱與冷澀之間的衝突中展開，終於釀成一場通姦情殺之生死血案。

擅長寫作歷史回憶性散文的章詒和，此次不寫政治，不說制度，不刻意描寫那個年代的醜陋，在《劉氏女．楊氏女》一書中，她化名張雨荷，以內斂、冷靜的筆觸，透過「我」的所見所聞，筆墨集中表達邊緣人物的命運，窺探其內心，帶出她們的往事。章詒和說：「我講的女囚故事，是一群向男人施展魔力的美麗女人：淫蕩，放肆，輕佻和凶殘，像嫉妒的妖精，復仇的狐狸，纏人無數的蛇蠍，以及受人厭恨的同性戀等。三十多年了，我所熟悉的女囚大多離開了塵世。其實，她們的幽靈仍然活著，並以更加囂張的氣勢，更加世俗的手段殘酷地引誘與被引誘。他們是罪犯，罪不可赦。但我喜歡他們，我也是罪犯。」

Quand on est jeune, très jolie mais très pauvre, peut-on , dans les années 60, choisir son futur et surtout qui aimer alors que la Révolution culturelle a métamorphosé la société chinoise et impose ses lois ...Yang Fenfang va devoir choisir entre l'amour fou qui la lie à son ami d'enfance He Wuji et la sécurité matérielle que lui promet Liu Qingsheng, un militaire de carrière. le drame couve et le châtiment sera exemplaire pour la femme adultère et les travaux forcés inéluctables.
Pourquoi n'ai-je pas été aussi séduite par ce roman et par la plume de Yihe Zhang que je l'espérais? Sans doute une méconnaissance profonde de la Société chinoise explique en partie cela, sans doute aussi parce que la seconde partie m'a semblé effleurer le sujet douloureux des internements à la chinoise. Mais il est sans doute risqué de s'exprimer ouvertement sur un sujet aussi sensible, alors chapeau bas à Yihe Zhang !

还可以吧，不过感觉这套书里面的女犯都没有什么自主意识，文字表达得她们好像有，但行为上又没有。

很长时间没为异性恋的感情感动了。没想到章诒和还这么会写性，没想到是这样的故事，没想到下一本书会是女同性恋。

This is the first novel I've read from Chinese author Yihe Zhang. This novel is divided in 2 parts. The first part is about a triangular love story gone wrong. The non-love mariage versus the love affair story is simple, straight forward, and predictible. The characters selected by the author are stereotypical. A poor female peasant caught between a strong and loving neighbor/peasant with uncertain future and the cold and rude military husband with a sure successful career ahead of him. There is lack of creativity and intrigue in this part of the novel. Fortunately, the second part is better with more original secondary characters, with more intrigue, but I wished there were a lot more details of life inside this women's prison/work camp based in rural area. The end of the second part is predictible, but it introduces to readers the main characters of the third novel written by the author.

This book is simple, easy, and fast to read, but lacks creativity, intrigue, and details. I've read other Chinese literature novels that were much better than this one.

明明買得是套書，卻沒有按照順序看。劉氏女是第一本，書中對這女求故事中經常出現的人物，鄧梅、楊芬芳、易瘋子......，當然還有劉月影，都有比《鄒氏女》更好的背景介紹。

《楊氏女》中已經分為上下部，如同《鄒氏女》的結構，事發的原因背景的交代，乃至於出場人物的個性刻畫交誼往來，都非常具體生動，在《楊氏女》中還可以見到少數相扣不夠緊密的環節，寫到第三本時，不但一貫地施展把真實故事說得精采的技法，文風更精練雅緻，更懂得把說理編織在故事的情節跟對話中，讓小說去呈現作者的想法。風格雅緻內斂，像是京派的大家閨秀。就算形容的是骯髒的環境、扭曲的社會，依然感覺到乾淨含蓄的文雅。

最後這一部，比較像是女囚系列的外傳。錢茵茵既不是前三部中在監舍一同生活的那些女囚們其中一人，全篇故事也都發生在監獄以外，感覺上是作者想要寫自己身處於階級嚴明的社會中，遭遇的壓抑挫折，所發出的不平，所以錢茵茵如此這般美好，有點自己往臉上貼金的味道。另外，在這本書裡出現的張雨荷，實在是個性非常不討喜的人物，和前三本出入甚大。
