Like the Blue Banner Biographies, also published by Mitchell Lane, the Robbie Reader series is appealing to reluctant readers. There are large color pictures on almost every page along with large font and ample white space. At only 32 pages, the material covered is somewhat sparse, but it seems to be well-researched and is clearly appropriate for its intended audience.
