This reminded me of the kind of stories you'd read in a 'Chicken Soup for the Soul' book, heartwarming tales about pets doing things from the extraordinary like saving their humans' lives to the unusual like forming unlikely cross-species friendships, to simply being in the right place at the right time to be adopted by the human who needed them the most. It's a quick read, and apparently there was a corresponding TV show, though the book is from 2000 and I don't remember the show, so it was likely a short-lived syndicated series.

The wonderful thing about this book. I took awhile to get thru this book because i was savoring it. Each chapter is a unique happy story. Needing a warm hug from reading, open up and devour a chapter.

Eläimistä ja eläinten käyttäytymisestä on ihanaa lukea tällaisia kuvauksia, mutta kielellisesti ja kirjallisesti tässä oli jotain varsin ärsyttävää. Amerikkalaista tyyliä!
