This novella is for Wolfe Nash and Rayvn Porter. If you’ve read Primal Urges, your going to want to deep dive into this. I loved getting to come back to these two.
This was so steamy, and hot! Nothing beats these two together and no one plays games better than when they explore their kinks. The hunt and adrenaline in this book are top notch. I loved the chase and felt my own heart rate spike with Ray’s fear.
I love Wolfe’s soft side that he only has for Rayvn. You get to see that come through in this novella a few times. When it comes down to it, he truly cares about his little fox. As much as the monster in him loves playing with her. Her trust and submission for him are beautiful. He even tells her, “it’s the best gift she could give him.”
This was such a fast paced read, I was not ready for it to end. I can’t wait to see what you have in store for these two next. ♥️

My review is for Actus Reus by YD La Mar….. talk about a rollercoaster ride !! From start to finish I was completely immersed and didn’t want to put it down! She spins a tale of mystery and suspense unlike anything I’ve read before! I was obsessed with finding out the truth and when it smacked me in the face I NEEDED more! If I could give this more stars I definitely would!! Love love loved it and highly recommend!

An amazing book filled to the brim with Villains of all types—female, male, and even paranormalones!! Whoever thought of such an antho is a genius. I can't pick a favorite story as they were all awesome. Great work authors!!!

Last update: I might have jumped the gun on my praise. I tried reading a few pages of all the remaining stories but they did not appeal to me. Either too gory, too many typos and badly in need of editing, or just didn’t grab my interest. I am throwing in the towel on all remaining stories, and my rating is for the collection as a whole.
Of the ones that I read, they were really great. But for the collection overall: more horror vibes and very little “love”, too many stories are incomplete or too deep into a series to be standalone or just unbalanced with the horror/shock value to emotional ratio.
#1 Favorite story is undisputed: Debts Owed was my favorite read of the anthology. It really delivered.
This is turning out to be one of the consistently best anthologies I’ve read!! I will rate these as I go. Not sure if this anthology benefits charity. I haven’t read any of these authors so excited to find some new favorites.
I made an executive decision to skip blurbs and content warnings because I don’t want spoilers. Might skip around in order a bit:
Actus Reas: dnf, seems more horror than romance. Villain unredeemable- update: was too curious so skimmed through the rest. Still too dark and demented for my liking but I know some will love this. Good job keeping mystery going. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3.6
Wish You Hell: dnf The tone of this one was just not for me. Apathetic villain/hero sounded so bored I didn’t care about his story.
Monstrous Deal: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Bomb! This ticked off all my boxes (monster romance, deal with a demon, power play, mystery) and was so well written! 4.5 only not a 5 because it ends on a cliffhanger. But full length version expected in 2024 and I will be reading it!
Debts Owed: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hot damn! And I mean damn it’s hot and shouldn’t be, but it works! Fun times.
Ensnare: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: This was really great, though hard to say why. Nontraditional romance to say the least with taboo teacher/student relationship and also age gap. Male character kept me curious and seemed well written. Not everything gets resolved but it sure was a steamy read.
Heist: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Felt original, bank robber RH with a red headed plus size teller victim/heroine. Really quite unforgivable things happening but she was into it. It is not the complete story and has the hated “to be continued” at the end, thus according to my code cannot qualify for > 4 stars.
Mine to Break:⭐️: I did not enjoy this one, it fell into what I like to call “psycho drama” that is just not my cup of tea. The romance has no build up as it happened before we meet the characters through chats and text messages. Lots of typos and lack of continuity, for example, her dad is bald but then she grabs him by his hair, someone is facing the floor when their throat is slit and the blood squirts all over those above them, she got punched in the eye but no mention of a black eye or bruise. Just skip this one unless you really like the campy, “psycho faux romance” genre that annoyingly does not seem to be going away.
My Darkest Knights: ⭐️⭐️: Boo….this is not a complete story and rather a set up for a whole book or series. Also there is not one romantic/sexy scene in the story plus the insta-love is annoying. The second star is for keeping me curious enough to read and the bisexual representation.
Monsters we Crave: skipping now due to it being a prequel to a series. I am really wanting short standalone stories.

My review for Debts Owed by Teegan Wylde
This is a dark, Violent yet delicious (& a little forbidden!) Mafia age-gap reverse-harem story with Multiple POVs! I devoured this in one seating, an hour 🥵.
Gabrielle (27) was happy, dark curvy beauty opening her own art gallery. A good fiance, though his family...is odd. But it all comes to head when she's kidnapped. By his family. Her fiance stole, taking her (in more ways than one) is the punishment. He will see.... *Cackle*
The dad— Dimitrios (49), & the twins— Yasha & Mikhail (23). I like how even in a short, we get a good feel of their different personalities. My heart was pounding at the start, I was worried. It started dub-con, but when she found out the extent of his betrayal? Oh yes. YES. I thoroughly enjoyed them devouring her 🤭. It's spicy 🔥.
It is open ended (not a cliffhanger exactly), & ya know what? I hope this becomes a book or atleast a novella! Gaby deserves good & she definitely deserves to be pleasured by them.
This is my 1st Teegan story (under this pen name 🤫). I'm happy I got the #ARC as I found this anthology by it! This is a must for those who love the villains in stories 😉.

Azgos' mother blames him for the missing drugs. He and Kurzan have an intimate history, and Azgos hates that other demons know about it. Kurzan shows up to kidnap Senka just in time to watch her time with Mal. They all 3 finish, then Mal is sent packing, and Senka is grabbed. Kurzan leaves behind a message in her own blood for her family. There is a pull between Senka and Kurzan that neither can explain, and both give into with violence. Only after they have bloodbonded does Azgos let his presence be known. He wants to kill them or join them, then kill them, but he was also told he he was being blamed for the missing drugs by Kurzan's father. Kurzan and Senka tell him they were told she told them. It's a conspiracy, and who knows what the truth is.
This story gets hot, and I don't just mean the lava kind. It does end on a cliffhanger, but some things were settled in the story.
I enjoyed reading this. It did take me a couple of chapters to get into. I somehow missed the blurb, so I had no idea what I was reading or getting into.

Review for To Dimitri With Hatred by Jocelyn Soto 💚
This was short royal,mafia romance that I'm intrigued with,and is about Dimitri Volkov and Anastasia the princess of Beldoria.
Dimitri is Logan brother, from the Dark Knights hockey series.
And where I was totally in love with the hockey romance that I read by Jocelyn.
In this totally different world I left definitely intrigued for more about this story.
Dimitri is hungry for power and will do anything to have her,especially when the King himself decides to arrange his daughter marriage the heir to the Beldori trone with Dimitri brother Logan.
But of course when Dimitri saw the opportunity he of course agreed to marry her himself.
Now when it star to get interesting the book finished and left me with the cliffhanger when the princess understood her fate to be married....but for who she will find out hopefully soon!🤭

This is based on how Christian MMC hated the Mafia life, which he escaped but was later dragged back in only for him to have a major agenda in his mind and that was to make Quinn his. Quinn FMC being the mafia princess was so spoiled that didn’t care about anything, she hated the fact that Christian left her behind when he left to later come back into her life again, bringing up old scars. Quinn knew deep-down that she couldn’t resist Christian no matter how much she hated him for leaving her. Do they both give in to their desires? This novella does give you a bit more understanding of Christian’s motive in the main book which is called “His Queen”. Go check it out, it’s available on Amazon. Who wouldn’t love this anthology!? Some of these main characters are straight psychos!! Absolute loved it!! For anyone who loves their villains a bit on the crazy side, then this anthology is perfect for you!! Fave stories are Des Sweet and JM Elliott! Those ladies have written pure gold and I need more!! JM’s story is one of revenge and so much spice!!! Des gave us a great prequel to His Queen and gave us a closer look into Christian and Quinn’s love story. These two ladies have just written such great stories that you’re definitely gonna want to read!

This Anthology had so many different stories from various authors that I literally could not put this book down. It had so many evil, creepy, suspenseful, sexy, twists and turns and so many crazy storylines and characters that it had my head spinning, and in a good way.
You have Crazy Bank Robbers, Gangs, Kidnappers, Slaves, Serial Killers, Evil Twins and oh so much more.
Also please note, some books are prequels and they tease you in a good way and these stories each have trigger warnings from each of the authors so you can skip some if you would like; however, I devoured them all!
In closing, if you would like some dark short reads that leave you with goosebumps and saying omg, then look no further. These stories have it all!

I’ve fallen in love with bad guys and I don’t want to be helped. This review is for My Darkest Knights by Cassie Lein and Alisha Williams. The FMC has been held captive in the basement of a very bad man. Jagger realizes that she needs to be rescued so in comes the knight in shining armor, so to speak. So they set out on the road to hide her in plain sight. In his condo nearby the college he’s attending. And she meets his friends. Sometimes friends are good. But how will it be when she discovers who these guys really are?

She is the queen of spice and monster romance. This fast paced read had me blushing like crazy, wanting to read more and dying to know how the truth will be uncovered.
So read if you want to know what happens when three demons have to band together in order to save their lives.

For the Love of Villains: Anthology the book I read was entitled, Sons and Daughters of Sin by R.E Johnson. This book was such a great, quick read. The spice was top tier and really well done. But I’m bias because I’m a fan of this author and of the writing style. The plot was interesting and I hope this story will get expanded in a full length book. The plot was addicting and I couldn’t put my kindle down. I will mention checking your trigger warnings to be on the safe side. Another great book from RE Johnson.

If you are looking for a book with a collection of stories with every sexy romance trope possible, then this book is for you. Many authors come together to create this collection that will leave you needing an ice bath to cool down from the hot and steamy scenes.

Sons & Daughters of Sin by RE Johnson.
This short and spicy read was amazing. It was dark and twisted but a great read. I cannot wait to get more of this story.
This short and spicy read was amazing. It was dark and twisted but a great read. I cannot wait to get more of this story.

I am reviewing Sons & Daughters of Sin by RE Johnson. Definitely worth the read, but recommend taking a look at the trigger warnings!
I enjoyed the demonic aspect of this story along with what seems to be a storyline full of espionage and intrigue, as well as spice enough to make even a seasoned reader have to adjust in their seat!
I’m excited to see if this turns into more!

This review is for My Darkest Knights by Alisha Williams and Cassie Lein. Amber has had a very, very hard life since she was abducted from her parents' home. She is rescued and is ready to begin her new life, but did she end up better off or not? I can't wait to find out!

Reviewing - Mine to Bend by Victoria Ellis
OMG! This was by far the darkest read I've ever read. I loved every minute of it though. It was spicy, dark, and left me wanting more. I hop there is more to the story of Dollie and Stealth. It left on a little bit of a cliffhanger, so I would love to see what happens next. I could hear the hesitation with Dollie when Stealth gave her the proposition, but understand why it was there and why she made the decision she did. It's not something I can do, but she needed to and it was ok.

For the Love of Villians is an anthology by a whole bunch of amazing authors. I had the pleasure of reading My Darkest Knights by Cassie Lein and Alisha Williams. We meet Amber, AKA Story, who has been locked in a basement being tormented/abused for years. Until she gets a massive infection and her abuser sends a nurse down to tend to her. Great start to a new series! TW to watch out for. Looking forward to seeing how this goes.

I received an ARC for Ravenous by J.M. Elliott
MY GOD! I love love dark romance but never realized how much I loved erotic horror!! This novella was HOT! It was twisted, morbid, graphic, intense, dirty, and even made me wince at one point (the fingers of all things) but soooo freaking hot! Even the super evil villain was hot! Cannot wait to find out more of what happens! Definitely keeping JM on my author list!!!

October 15, 2023I received an ARC of this Anthology. I read 1 story Bad Heir 'from Alex King there is no reference made in Author Note. But it seems like a continuation. Hence it made little sense to me. I was interested in Primal Games by Bex Dawn, but had to opt out when Author Note indicated it followed on from another book. Which I had not read.
All anthologies I've read previously have been new standalone novellas. No prior reading required. So I kinda just assumed these would all be too. 🤷♀️
So I won't be reviewing or rating this book.

I can’t get enough of Wolfe and his little fox! This was a perfect quick read to spend time with them! It’s time for them to celebrate, and obviously Wolfe pulls out all the stops. We get more time with Wolfe being perfectly Wolfe, Rayvn being his perfect match, and the delicious depravity that I love! Even if these two weren’t soulmates, Wolfe would make sure they were. They make me so giddy, and I was smiling like an idiot the entire time! He’d kill for her, and I’d kill for them both.
