Your reality is created by your “beliefs.” These beliefs, usually subconscious, are often the result of lifelong “programming,” and represent a powerful influence on human behavior. Studies in neuroscience indicate that as much as 95% of our consciousness is actually subconscious. It’s the subconscious mind that is the store-house for our attitudes, values, and beliefs. It is from our beliefs that we form perceptions about the world and ourselves, and from these perceptions we develop behaviors. Usually, it is self-defeating behaviors we wish to change. Often the most effective way to change a behavior is to change the subconscious belief(s) that support it. Based on years of split-brain research, also known as Brain Dominance Theory, PSYCH-K provides a variety of ways to quickly identify and transform beliefs that “sabotage” you into beliefs that “support” you, in any area of your life. Many people harbor self-sabotaging subconscious beliefs in the areas of financial prosperity, self-worth, health and body issues such as weight loss, as well as relationships and career. This book will help the reader discover; why you don't always do the right thing, even when you know the right thing to do; why trying smarter is better than trying harder; and why changihng yourself can change the world. The book is a companion to the PSYCH-K experiential workshops where participants learn specific techniques for changing self-limiting beliefs. The book provides the foundational philosophy and science behind this revolutionary process.
I am an Advanced Psych-K Facilitator...this book is a great intro to Psych-K...a truly amazing and simple healing modality that can address literally any thing in your life from "incurable" cancer to issues between you and your pet! It's been around for over 20 years, but just now beginning to hit the mainstream world. Based in Brain Dominance Theory, neuroscience and quantum physics. A truly revolutionary modality for the healing of mankind...works with all ages including those who have passed on to the next world. Results can be experienced only after one session.

This book is only an advertisement for the Psych-k workshop. The author briefly introduced it, but not much of a detail or how to do. Just referring to the workshop and saying how good is this workshop... waste of money!
I read this book in less than 4 hours. It is easy and short. It explains the theory behind psych-k but not instructions on how to do it. So take a class.
Very interesting book on a theoretical level but unfortunately it is a marketing tool to push the reader to enrol in a Psych-k seminar or workshop. The author is not giving even a small information about the process or technique used in Psych-k. He talks about the benefits, causes and effects and this is truly interesting and also fascinating. But unfortunately the constant hammering of “psych-k” makes this book looks like a cheap commercial. The problem is, when you check the prices of seminars and workshops, it clearly denotes that psych-k is for wealthy people only, which does not match in my opinion with the “humanitarian/holistic superconsciousness ” speech the author is giving. Nothing wrong with having a profitable business with this of course but it needs to be reasonable, and over all, specially for this kind of things, I believe people with knowledge that can change life should be more altruistic and generous about it. It will be much more credible if the products they are selling would be reachable to everyone. It sadly states that you need to be rich to have access to happiness (at least to psych-k workshops), and some enlightened author finally like money too much to be completely true to themselves and to their speech. Disappointing but just human at the end..
A Good Introduction to Working with Limiting Beliefs
Overall, I liked the book. If you're a veteran user of techniques like NLP and Hypnosis, you'll recognise most of the core tenants of Psych-K as being derivatives of both of these disciplines. The core of the book is about understanding the roles the conscious and subconscious mind play in creating change in our lives. Our ability to change is often inhibited by our limiting beliefs. Learning how to deal with and overcome our limiting beliefs is the key to a successful change. Psych-K outlines a methodology to help you through the process of changing your limiting beliefs.
This is an amazing book that provides some incredible information regarding the key concepts of the connection of the MIND and the BRAIN... between our conscious decisions and our subconscious routines... with that said, keep in mind this book does not cover the PROCESS only why the process is worthy of discovery... the process is provided only at in-person workshops or private sessions... so, not during Quarantine... worth the wait though it seems :)
I enjoyed this book. It gives awarness to opportunities to change your subconscious mind and to live a Fuller life. To execute this learnings you would need to join a class and that makes sense to me. Because i am sure it's a lot of science and hands on experiments that need to happen. Starting here with the book is a tremendous step forward in the right direction
The book was interesting but missed a lot of the how. It explained all the benefits, gave tests to do to test your beliefs yourself, and some theory about examples when it worked but it never really dove into how to change your mindset through Psych-K. It only provides info about the workshops in the end (which cost between 700 dollars to thousands). I think at least some info would have been nice, it's difficult to put into practice a book if the book doesn't explain the how.
In the quiet, contemplative moments of life, a time when take pause to reflect on our lives, I’d say most of us sense there is something more. This book explains how to get to that “something more,” and it is heartwarming to discover that it’s not all that difficult to obtain.
Thrilling that this book has practical application!
After reading Bruce Lipton’s biology of belief this book not only is more believable but also provides information that will shift many personal paradigms. I encourage readers to take the call to action and either seek a facilitator OR go do a workshop.
You’ll be wishing you found this book and PSYCH-K much earlier.
This book was a mind blower. Showed me how powerful we could be. To be able to reprogram our belief system is a powerful concept !!!!!!!! Thank you. Made me very hopeful for humanity
Good book for explaining general concepts about how the conscious, subconscious and superconscious mind works. It is an explanatory book on why to choose Psych-K. There are many other tools though that can be used to reach the same result, but this is not the purpose of this book.
Want to do the Psych-K courses now. Would of liked a bit more information on how to perform the balances, just to get started. Easy to read and absorb the information, as Rob Williams has written this book to engage all readers.
Loved the simplicity in language used I would recommend this book for anyone who’s looking to understand psych-k Thank you Rob for giving us such a powerful tool for transformation 🙏
Great read to understand how psych-k benefit the human mind that has traumas, incorrect belief systems and emotions and feelings that sets us back to become the best that we can be.
El contenido es bueno, es entretenido y habla de las posibles soluciones que se buscan, pero termina en necesitar hacer un taller, así que a mi criterio, debería ser gratis esta lectura.
Great introduction to PSYCH-K®️, although experiencing the live workshops is by far better. You can’t beat experiencing PSYCH-K®️ for real. It has changed my life.
Interesting book that is a compilation of praises and testimony of successful PSYCH-K sessions rather than a detailed roadmap to improving your life. Two or three chapters are dedicated to explaining the process, the technique and some examples of what to do, a couple of chapters dedicated to the theory behind PSYCH-K and then the rest of the chapters are a marketing tool promoting this method. If you are already knowledgeable of hypnosis and NLP, among other techniques, you may be able to get something out of this book. Other than that, this book is comparable to an advertisement you may get in the mailbox. Get it if you want, but don't put your hopes on it.
The book brings you on an insightful journey through the mechanics of your brain. I enjoyed learning how powerful the subconscious truly is. The book gives you some wonderful information on training your brain to achieve positive results. However, the book fell short about half way thru when the author started gearing his readers towards taking his seminars. One chapter alone provides you with testimonials from former seminar students. Since only half the book provides the readers with helpful information, then the author should be charging half to purchase the book.
