I have been a fan of westerns since my younger days, particularly L’Amour and his Sackett stories. I have seen Max Brand novels before and finally gave one a shot.
Sleeper and his magnificent horse Careless are the main heroes in this short book of what really amount to a group of short stories. A decent and fun read.
