I don't know why this short story doesn't have more top ratings. Its characters were well-written, and the plot was interesting.

Alex didn't lie exactly. She buzzed at the driveway gate, and they let her in, assuming her to be someone else without verifying her identity in any way.
(When Lucas was met with a similar situation, he laughed it off. “The man made an assumption, that's all, and it would have taken far too long to explain.”)

Alex's conscience pricks at her, though, and she's torn because she's really falling in love with Lucas and Mallory, and Lucas' mom is becoming a friend.

I really liked this story!

This is only a short story that you will be able to read in 2 to 3 hours.
Alex is a reporter always looking for a story to show her boss she is worthy of keeping her job. Whilst on vacation in Marbella she spots millionaire Lucas Fairfax shopping and tries to follow him but soon looses him as he drives off in his sporty car. The following day she spots him again and follows him to his villa. Alex decides to try her luck and rings the bell at the gate, when the house keeper answers she is invited in as they think she is the new PA/nanny. Not being able to get a word in edge ways she plays along and a whole new world of deception is opened up.

Nice story, would have liked to see a bit more of steamy Lucas as he sounded really quite hot!

Oh dear. Very Mills and Boon. Glad I didn't pay for it.
