A pretty bland, straightforward retelling of Cinderella does not benefit from portraying all the characters as sort of ugly dogs who act exactly like people. The dry text makes no attempt to find humor from the presence of all the dogs, not even making any dog puns. Why bother then, huh?

This book was one of my favorite books as a kid. I liked this book because it is a version of Cinderella but with dogs. I loved the original Cinderella but I had two dogs at the point when I read this so I really liked how it was dogs. Cinderella wasn't my favorite princess but I liked it way better in the dog version.

A good spin on the original Cinderella story and children will love the characters being an animal. I thought it was cool in this story there was multiple balls unlike in the original movie.

This familiar fairy tale uses a pack of canines with a good-natured spaniel as the title character. In this version, the author uses some witty wordplay. The art in the story is captivating for younger readers. There are a variety of humorous images: the stepsisters get ready for the ball, powdering their noses, the fairy godmother is dressed in a tutu, and the tongues of all the dogs hang out when Cinderella enters the ballroom. At the end of the story the Prince and Cinderella live happily ever after.

This rendition of Cinderella was great. It was a hilarious version of the original Cinderella story. Cinderella was a dog in this story. Just as the original story, this book is cast with dogs. This story is hilarious and will draw children attention because it is told from a dog's perspective. This book would be good for grades K-3.

This version had dogs as the characters, but the story was the same traditional Cinderella story. It would have been better if the author had changed up the story a bit as the dogs could have created an interesting storyline that was similar to the original.

A traditional Cinderella story with a unique spin. You would not normally picture Cinderella as a dog. It is new and interesting. The book is funny and definitely entertaining. If you are looking for something original then read this book!

It was kind of weird because Cinderella's stepsisters looked like boys. The characters in this version were dogs. The prince was shorter than cinderella. It was just so funny.

I liked this take on Cinderella. The dog part of the story almost made it more childlike and magical than the normal version and more kind as well.

Not too original. It's the basic Cinderella story, but the characters are all dogs instead.

This was a cute idea, but it felt like something was missing in this. There were a few puns scattered about, but I wanted a bit more humor. The illustrations were good, but they were a little on the busy side, to the point that I wasn't quite sure where the center of focus was supposed to be. Again, cute thought.
