Sloan's revenge against his former companions has only just begun. With one down, several more stand in his way as he continues his climb to the top of the system. Each victory brings him closer to reclaiming what was taken from him, but also puts a target on his back.
As he battles against old enemies and new ones, Sloan discovers that the system is not the only thing at risk. Rifts are opening in unprecedented numbers, and monsters are emerging at an alarming rate. With the world on the brink of destruction, Sloan must join forces with unexpected allies to face a threat greater than anything he's encountered before.
But as the stakes rise, so too does the danger. Each step brings Sloan closer to his ultimate goal, but also closer to his own demise. The Red Rift still holds many secrets, and the price of knowledge may be too high to pay.
The fate of the world rests in his hands, but at what cost?
So, you want to know more? This is the story of a man out of time, appearing ten years after his death within a rift. Armed with a cheat skill, he’ll grow stronger and stronger as a Spellblade and summoner. Mixing post-apocalypse with magical realism and LitRPG flair, System Reborn is an easy LitRPG Adventure to pick up while waiting for the next big release
It was a waste of my time. Don’t let it waste yours too. This is a terrible rip off of solo level with zero payoff and a terrible conclusion. You don’t know any of the characters enough to care about them. I just don’t see how this series has so many positive reviews. I felt like it was going in a positive direction. The author must have taken some drugs before writing this last book.
We all know this book is a mishmash of stolen content from Korean Manhwas like Solo level. The plagiarism was acceptable for volumes 1-3. This volume though? It’s like the author decided they wanted to incorporate parts of Naruto too… It’s honestly so bad with the time skip and writing that I started unintentionally associating some of the dialogue to Tometh the Wyvern and Shiva the snake… Like, did they always talk?
Book four in the series wrapped up the main plot line from the beginning of book one. The main characters likable and the story moved along rather well. This didn't have the same sense of accomplishment because the main character never felt being peril. It wasn't that his challenges weren't extraordinary, you just realized the main character had to figure out a way to move ahead because the story had nowhere else to go. Overall good simple read. Some editing issues and sometimes the pacing dragged a little. Not sure where the plot line will pick up for the fifth series in the book?
Sorry but this is where I have to call it quits. I have been entertained by this series up until this book however I have had an ongoing issue with the MC being a bit of an idiot. Just making bad decisions and ignoring things that where obvious. This book took it to a new level sorry but I just hate a MC that is constantly making obvious errors. All I can say so there is no spoilers.
This one confused the tar out of me at the beginning. I don't remember reading about a underground city in the previous books. But that is where this one starts. I'm still not sure what happened to the subway. Did I skip a book somewhere? So after the first few chapters you sort of get your bearings.
I would be great if this was a anime and I could watch it. All I can say is endure and the action gets pretty good.
I like the character and he didn’t disappoint, although the way it ended was difficult for this fictituos character where he doesn’t get the ending he would would like or want. So was disappointed for him, a satisfactory ending of the threat.
In my opinion, this story strongly resembles Only I level up, a Korean Webnovel but the story and plot are adapted to a more western audience. It’s obviously been heavily influenced by the Korean story while still standing as its own publication. I enjoyed the series enough to read them in about four days.
This was a good book but it seemed like the writing was hurried at the end. There was so much build up to fight the betrayers then they were all dead in just a few pages. I feel like the writer went on vacation and let their assistant finish the book using an outline. I truly hope the next book gets back to what this story felt like at the beginning.
I didn't expect the way Sloane had to fight and pair up to officially win. There weren't as many pronoun issues in this book as there were in the previous books. Good story, and okay ending.
The first book was decent, but it only went downhill from there. Every book worse than the one before. The story, the characters, the dialogue, the system, all of it just turned bad.
And not enough story. I ended up passing by large chunks of the book to get to the parts that weren't just fights. I don't understand why there are more books when everything is basically resolved.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was fun and entertaining. The story and characters were incredibly interesting and engaging. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. This book is definitely worth checking out.
An amazing story. Following Sloan from the betrayal of his friends to getting his revenge and saving the world was fun and exciting. I can't wait to read more.
decent premise and power system, writer just seems too lazy to fill easy plot holes and too rushed to write full novels and at least semi-logical power scaling.
🤔 seems like this book was rushed. There wasn’t enough time to be invested in the characters or story. Not sure if o will pick up the remainder of the series so glad this arc is done.
This was a fun series to read. I devoured the first three books very quickly but then it began to drag a little with the repetitive pattern the character and power growth.
This was a satisfying conclusion to an enjoyable fast series. I loved that this was a LitRPG that was not a harem or spice book. It was just an enjoyable LitRPG with a cool overpowered character.
I liked getting to know the characters especially Sloane's first summons. I liked the peeks at their personalities that we see throughout the series.
I could easily see myself reading book books from this author. I would easily recommend this book to anyone who loves LitRPG or webtoons with video game elements to them.
Steam Content: None. There is the beginning of a relationship that was hinted at through the series as a potential love interest. But there was no actual romance in the books.
The book starts off in a place and time disconnected from the ending in book 3, and Sloan alludes to not explained here so it feels like there are missing chapters. The MC also seems to have a personality change becoming an arrogant king-maker. He treats one friend like crap so it's not clear why he'd still be associated with Sloan. There's a weird interlude with his one other friend. Then a crazy fight against 90,000+ monsters and a nonsensical win against Zeus. All this is on top of the usual terrible writing and grammatical issues, and love affair with the word "instant". Even my curiosity has its limits and I can't continue reading this.
