Andrew "Andy" Kubert is an American comic book artist, son of Joe Kubert, and brother of Adam Kubert, both of whom are also artists. He is a graduate of and an instructor of second-year classes at the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, founded by his father (who also teaches there).
This volume contains two issues of Wolverine written by Larry Hama and drawn by Adam Kubert and an issue each of X-Men and Uncannny X-Men drawn by Andy Kubert and written by Fabian Nicenza and Nicenza with Chris Claremont. The two Wolverines are sequential, but other than that there's nothing to tie any of them together other than the Kubert name. I think that Adam Kubert shows more influence from their famous father, Joe (at least in these selections), and I liked his backgrounds better. On the other hand, I really liked the way Andy Kubert handled subtle facial expressions, particularly the eyes, especially in the third chapter. All of the stories are from the early '90s, and there's no real context with which to judge the stories. It's a fun book, but not an important or definitive volume like many of the other Marvel Visionaries titles.
