She has a master's degree in probation, parole administration & sociology from Fordham University, but the knowledge gained from such studies certainly has not prepared her for what she loves to do--write romance! The pacing was so confusing. The dialogue was awkward. The author waited until page 189 to let readers know that Cowboy Joe had a ponytail. Overall ranking: 🤠🤠

I really liked this book. It was a light hearted love story. I'm a little bias when it comes to this story, I love horses and enjoy riding myself. It's every girl's dream to meet and fall in love with a sexy handsome cowboy that is head over heels in love with you.

Maggie and her nephew embark on an adventure called cowboy quest. It's a program for trouble teens which is meant to help Danny find his way after his mother died and he is now living with Maggie. This quest is meant to bring the two of them back together. This all seems to be going great, but Maggie cannot take her eyes off their lead cowboy Joe. He seems to like her more and more as they continue on their quest.

Joe has to find a way to win over not only Maggie, but also her nephew Danny.

This is an easy read if you are looking for an adventurous love story.

This book had a good theme going but lacked depth. The author is apparently knowledgeable about the probation and parole systems, yet she does not give us much information where she could have gone into detail about the Cowboy Quest program, its attendees, their problems, their work towards a solution. We do learn about a few of them, but not their problems and how they got to where they are. I would have liked much more information about the kids instead of the focus on the relationship between Maggie and Joe, which wasn't very realistic or believable anyway. That also needed more time and detail.
