My friend Shannon first loaned this book to me in junior high or maybe even my freshman year of high school. I loved the book and have since read it a few times. It is out of print, but I found a good copy used...I think on Ebay. I may have to read it again to see if it is as good as I remember.
Overall, i felt the writing was good but I missed some authentic gothic spooks and disappointingly it was also very low in romance. The Hero is 17 yrs older and there is little interaction between the leads. The heroine is shaded by immaturity...some side characters were just plain rude. Not the best but OK to read.
