I bought this book on one of Avdič's concerts. He's totally different person behind the scene than on stage. Really calm, quiet. And I couldn't help not to think "which" Damir wrote the book. At times brutally sharp, but on the next page such a feeling of tenderness that you shiver. It's not an aesy book to read. Don't know if it was translated in English, if someone had the courage to do it...thumbs up for that. The fact is, that Avdić uses all the "juiciness" of bosnian/serbian...whatever, language that is spoken in Bosnia. And I can't imagine that those words would keep the same feeling and context once translated. Really powerfull reading about despair, love, loneliness, willingness to move on and, in a way, belonging. One of my favorites.
