Bad Behavior #1-5.5

Bad Behavior: The Complete Collection

Rate this book
This collection contains all 6 Bad Behavior stories (4 novels, 1 novella, and 1 short story)

It’s “hell no” at first sight for newly partnered detectives Andreas Ruffner and Darren Corliss. Darren is too chipper, Andreas is too gruff, and that whole “IA wants me to prove you’re a dirty cop” thing really doesn’t get them off on the right foot.

It doesn’t matter if they like each other. They’re partners and that’s final. Though Andreas is easy on the eyes. And Darren is kind of cute. And... okay, maybe they can make this work.

They’d better, because as their cases get more horrifying—and more personal—they’ll have to trust each other with their lives, and with their hearts.

Collection contains:
Risky Behavior
Suspicious Behavior
Reckless Behavior
Romantic Behavior
Protective Behavior
Cuddly Behavior
All of these titles were previously published and are available individually.

About the author

L.A. Witt

219 books2,728 followers
L.A. Witt and her husband have been exiled from Spain and sent to live in Maine because rhymes are fun. She now divides her time between writing, assuring people she is aware that Maine is cold, wondering where to put her next tattoo, and trying to reason with a surly Maine coon. Rumor has it her arch nemesis, Lauren Gallagher, is also somewhere in the wilds of New England, which is why L.A. is also spending a portion of her time training a team of spec ops lobsters.

Authors Ann Gallagher and Lori A. Witt have been asked to assist in lobster training, but they "have books to write" and "need to focus on our careers" and "don't you think this rivalry has gotten a little out of hand?" They're probably just helping Lauren raise her army of squirrels trained to ride moose into battle.

Sleep is overrated!

This is a must read for anyone who's favorite tropes are action/mystery, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, not to mention cat lovers (the last book in the series), but do yourself a favor and read the books in order.
It's a slow burn - oh, the heat and attraction is there, big time, but the relationships development is realistic and so are some serious issues addressing police work. Thoroughly researched with no sugar-coating. Just real life. I can attest to that because I'm following both authors on several social media platforms - not just book related - and a lot of events in this series are based on actual life experiences - not verbatim, but related - and also you'll find similarities with actual crimes and misconducts that were all over the media not so long ago.

The books are extremely well written (dual POW), fast paced, with a huge added bonus of snark and humor. I would go into more detail if I had the time, but actually I'm writing this after a sleepless night (book related) on my way to work. Actually I was reading this (inhaled it actually) for the second time and it wasn't the last. Added to my all time favorites!

bad behavior

These books were very informative & fun to read. I normally read romance books but these books let me see an open & loving relationship with both partners and family acceptance. I really enjoyed reading them. It was hard for me to put them down. Thanks to this author & the open mindedness of these stories!!! Thanks so much

DNF at like 1%. I get that the MCs' 'stupidity' is necessary for driving the plot but these guys are supposed to be professionals yet don't behave as them with their immediate predispositions based on a lack of information about the other. Detectives??? Yeah, no, I'm done with this, even if the plotting does get better (I assume)

OTT, so the ability to suspend belief and just "Roll with it" is needed to enjoy. But, it is entertaining with better than average developed characters.

The last full story takes on some timely and weighty issues. The bonus story with our original m/c's catsitting was a great add on and definitely one of my favorite bonus stories of all time.

Bad Behaviour

I was surprised to enjoy these books as much as I did.
I'm not normally a reader of cop books, but having read books by L.A. Witt before I wanted to give them a go. A very good decision on my part.
