I have used this book as a reference for a number of years, and continue to do so. I have never gotten into the section on Hindu astrology, but the bulk of the book, which gives interpretations for the transits of the outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) can be referred to in tandem with any simple astrology program that allows you compare transits with a natal chart in order to get an idea of the influences prevailing at any given time. Some people may feel that the interpretations incline too much to the negative, but if taken with a grain of salt, I don't find this adversely affects their usefulness.
