This is a great book if you are a wood worker or just love trees. I am a tree hugger as well as a wood carver. I was not aware of all the practicual uses one can put this tree to use. Now I am on the hunt for green birch wood and birch bark for a few of the projects.

Very informative and can't wait to try some of the projects. I wish the how to harvest sectin was a little more detailed.
