Jim Wallis, an Irish/American executive of a large US banking group, volunteers to go to Dublin to set up the firm's expansion into Europe. His wife and two children stay at home. After a screwed-up vasectomy, which eventually left him minus a testicle, a damaged penis, and a multitude of other problems, he takes the medical people to the Irish High Court where he wins, but loses when the clinic appeals to the Supreme Court. When his wife discovers him in his apartment with a young attractive woman, she dumps him and cleans him out, and because he's no longer able to sexually perform, his lover also walks. Totally devastated, he embarks on a mission of reprisal against the medical people who destroyed his manhood and the three of the five judges who made judgements against him. The novel is full of twists and turns involving corruption, lies, deceit, cheating, sex, and revenge.
