Jade Fitzgerald has everything she thinks she needs in life. After a failed nasty marriage, struggling with her weight and a bad heart condition she finds her life as a Art Historian complete.
Vincent Knight is hot, handsome and mysterious. He has been there done that and has seen things maybe he shouldn’t have in his line of work, but he puts out that air about him that nothing fazes him. Vincent searches Jade out , she is nothing quite like he remembered, after a first brief – slightly heated meeting he finds himself drawn to this beautiful woman who not only sends his mind wandering but his loin tingling.
Vincent believes that Jade’s mother has stolen the Mayan artifact, and has approached her in need of help. But it’s quiet not what he bargained for. They don’t start off on the right path, Jade remembers the man he was from school and finds him big headed and demanding. Nothing has changed except his hotness is now even hotter!! ** grins ** swoon...
No where she wants to go right now, but she also can’t deny the passion and desires that Vincent stirs within her. A rocky road for Jade and Vincent-both trying to avoid the passion and attraction they know they feel and also to find the artifact and move on with the lives they had before the drama.
Can they both go their separate ways and deny the chemistry between them?
In time Jade is added to the collection of beautiful things the crazy man is after, he not only wants the artifact but Jade by his side. Vince and Jade struggle with their emotions and passion and learn to trust each other to find the artifact and escape the deranged killer.

Well I’m a cover love Kinda girl and this cover defiantly sends forth what’s inside the cover ** smokin**
Mine Until Dawn is a suspenseful romance filled with curve balls, twists and turns and a rollercoaster ride Im sure that you will cling to the entire ride.
Passion between the characters Vince and Jade will not only give you Goosebumps, but having you wandering where you might find a hotty like Vince. The steamy scenes will not only send your toes curling, but have you tingling in all the right places in anticipation and even chewing your bottom lip waiting for Vince and Jade to just get it on !!! Ednah has created undeniable electricity and chemistry between the main characters that does not overtake the storyline, but adds that little added bit of excitement – to the readers benefit.
A riveting storyline that is well paced, chapters that flow smoothly with the storyline, no sudden breaks in the story, just a full on ride straight ahead.
Vincent will not only ruffle your tail feathers, but have you oggling the cover and maybe even a tinge of Jealously towards Jade... ** he surely is one hotty ** swoon !!! lol.
Jade is a slightly tortured soul but ready to move on with life, I enjoyed her character, kind and loving and very strong willed.
Mine Until Dawn is filled with a great cast of characters I’m sure that will not only swoon over but have you wanting to kung fu just to help out! Suspenseful scenes that will have you gasping, other scenes you will be shaking in trepidation and sexy scenes that will have you reading briskly ** wink **
Ednah portrays her characters with depth and emotion letting the reader know exactly what’s happening. The dialogue was brusque, clear cut and the suspense and action titillating, the romance sweltering. An ending I’m sure will keep the reader happy and a great second addition to The Fitzgerald Family series. I eagerly await book 3 KISS ME CRAZY!!!!

A very nice read, almost as good as the first one. I like the combination of a contemporary romance with a mystery with murders and stolen artifacts.
Jade is a woman who tries to live her life as best as she can after a nasty divorce and a sheltered life because of an illness. One day, Vince comes to her life. She knew him from the school but that was only for a short period of time and many years ago. Now, he looks wild and he came to ask her odd questions. Then, both of them, become part of a very dangerous situation.
I liked Jade, although she’s very insecure for my taste. I admit, she has a good reason because her ex-husband made her feel ugly but she’s a smart woman and she had to know better. But she’s not only smart but brave too. She’s not easily afraid and she acts in a right way when she’s in danger.
Vince is a man who lives dangerously. His past haunts him and sometimes I had the feeling that he feels like he’s not whole as a person. His father never wanted him and that is something that made his character. Nevertheless, he is a great guy and I liked the way he was with Jade.
It was a nice story but the ending was hasty and without answering some questions. But other than that, I enjoyed it!

I finished Mine Until Dawn in a 24 hour period. I have never finished a 400 page book before in 1 day. That speaks to the incredible writing skills that Ms Walters has. I started the book at around 11 PM Friday and I literally went to bed Saturday morning at 7 AM and got up at 11 AM and went right back to reading. I finished around 11 PM Saturday night. Jade and Vince had me transfixed to my computer reading. It was the best money and time I have ever spent with a book. Just when I think Ms. Walters can't surprise me she knocks me for a loop. I liked the fact that Jade gave as good as she got. I also enjoyed Vince's vulnerable side which he tries like hell to hide. They first meet at Jade's office were Vince ends up accusing (although in not so many words) Jade's mother of stealing something at a party she had gone to recently. Jade, like a devoted daughter, is outraged at what Vince has to say about her mother. As always, Ms. Walters throws us curve ball after curve ball to keep us on our toes. There is NEVER a dull moment in this book. I especially loved a particular scene involving Jade, her cousins Faith and Ashley (from Slow Burn), and Vince. I don't want to give it away because it is a very good scene but lets just say there is a very drunk Ashley and a very sexy Vince shedding his clothing. Jade and Vince are such a perfect couple that you start rooting for them from the very beginning. Every woman wants to prove to everyone else that they can handle anything that comes their way and every guy wants to prove that they don't need anyone or anything but with Jade and Vince you realize maybe just maybe it is just nice to be something to someone and to hell with everyone else. On a scale from 1-10 I give Mine Until Dawn 10. I really think I might like Mine Until Dawn better than Slow Burn and I really LOVED Slow Burn. I so can't wait for Kiss Me Crazy (The Fitzgerald Family Series Book #3). I am a fan of Ms. Walters for life whether it be her adult books or her YA books. Thank you for nurturing my LOVE of reading.

Wer ab und an in meine Rezensionen reinschnuppert, hat vermutlich schon mitbekommen, dass ich auch eine kleine Schwäche für die Bücher der amerikanischen Autorin Ednah Walters habe.
Nachdem ich schon ihre Runes-Reihe (YA) sehr gut fand, nahmen mich dann "Impulse" und "Slow Burn" ( beides Contemporary Romance) vollends für ihre Bücher ein.
Wie auch schon die beiden anderen Bücher dieses Genres, die ich von ihr kenne, überzeugt auch "MIne until dawn" durch seine ganz eigenen Charaktere, die überzeugend und authentisch dargestellt werden und durch eine spannende und aktionsreiche Story. Auch wenn die Geschichte alle Elemente einer ordentlichen zeitgenössischen Liebesgeschichte hat, schafft es die Autorin auch in diesem Buch wieder gekonnt, alle Klischees zu umgehen.

I bought this book and I was not asked by the author for a review. It is my honest review.
This book is a second book is Fitzgerald Series by E.B. Walters and I have to admit that I have enjoyed it much more than Slow Burn, which is the first part. In this part Ednah has shown a better writing and much complexed characters. I didn't even mind that the book is written from the 3rd person POV.
In here we meet Jade Fitzgerald, a young woman, who is a professor at University and loves antiques and anything that involves them. She is recovering from a bad relationship and now she is trying to be "I am in control" Jade and I admire her for that, because you can see that she really fights it and it's not easy when every single person in her large family is overprotective toward her. She is trying to prove them and herself that she is strong and take care of herself without the whole clan lurking around the corner. I really enjoyed her as a character. She is intelligent, sassy and strong-willed. When she decides to be adventurous and even considering an affair, Vince Knight happens.
Vince is a mysterious, handsome and take charge in everything kind of man. He and Jade know each other briefly from high school, but were not exactly friends. He is mysterious and hides a dark past, which still causes him a lot of pain and prevents him to fully commit himself to his emotions towards Jade. At least at the beginning. The case of a stolen ancient statue brings them together (not that Jade was asked nicely to help him, though) and their time together starts.
The famous words: Mine Until Dawn haunts Vince almost all the time when Jade is pointing it to him every chance she has.
I really enjoyed this book and loved the story, and the fact that the romance the main concentration of it. And also that it wasn't easy love.
But what I enjoyed the most? Vince, dancing and Ashley's bachelorette party :] Amazing! I still giggle whenever I think about it!
A strong 4,5 stars for this book :)

After RWA in New York this year a lot of the authors that
have friended me on Facebook started adding other authors
that they had met. I added a bunch from their recommendations.
That's how I came upon this book from Ednah Walters. She was
asking others to review it at various sites.
"Mine Until Dawn' I saw the title and thought hmm maybe a
vampire book as they run the earth til dawn. ok i was wrong on
that one. Started reading it and it seemed like a Harlequin
romance novel but that didn't look right with number of pages
nor was it a normal romance novel. It is so much more than
that. Starts out as a love story with complications. Then the
other half steps to the plate and it's no more a love story
but a mystery. The book takes turns from each of their point
of views to move the story along. The mystery part really
get intense for good reasons as the remance escalates further
along.
This is an excellent book that more than pays attention to
detail. It could be made into a movie very easily as everything
is laid out in black and white on the pages. I felt I was
right there along with them and others traveling to different
places I've never been to. I learned a lot also about the
chinese artifacts and kung fu techniques. The scenery from the
different areas seems like really great places to visit.
The book does not come on super strong with the characters
nor the plot. It's very easy going and holds your interest
til the end.
I really liked the fact that there are a handful of different people
but there is no chaos with introducing them into the storyline.
You are never confused as to who is who.
Loved reading about the parties as these are things I've never
experienced.
After reading this book I am now on the prowl to get other
books by Ednah. Thanks and keep on writing. I rate this book
a 5 out of 5.

LOVED THIS BOOK!! Ednah never fails to disappoint me in a steamy romance thriller that keeps you gripped to the book and wishing for more!!
All I know is that I am wishing I were born a Fitzgerald girl!!
This story Rocked from the first page to the last. You learn about Jade and the hardships she went through with her marriage, how her husband belittled her and made her feel insignificant. Jade’s inner strength to build up her self-esteem and confidence is amazing. Her devotion to her mother, never unwavering.
Mine Until Dawn is full of adventure and mystery…and let us not forget the steamy romance that you feel from the moment Jade and Vince first met. Jade keeps her guard up, but cannot deny the attraction she has for Vince. Vince cannot help his instinctive protection that he feels for Jade. A combination that is going to lead to the luscious romance that will break down all the barriers that Jade and Vince have both built around themselves.
Mine Until Dawn just isn’t a romance story, it’s got it all…mystery, adventure, murder, running from the law…it’s just down right action packed! It will grab you and you won’t be able to put it down. The second novel in the Fitzgerald Family series, this one is just as great as the first. The reader will love how close and protective the Fitzgerald family members are of their kin. This novel isn't some cheesy love story, the main topic isn't necessarily romance. This book contains mystery, action, drama, romance, and even a little horror. Readers who prefer different types of genres will still enjoy this novel. The reader will pick up new vocabulary and facts concerning kung fu and China, specifically concerning artifacts.
Jade is a strong, female character; female readers should enjoy this facet of Jade's character, there are not many strong-willed females in stories where romance is intertwined with the plot. Jade is fun to read about, the reader will feel as if he/she knows Jade very well by the end of the novel. Vince is a bit of an enigma; he makes for a great "hero". He is handsome, aloof, and persistent. Jade and Vince really pull the story together. After reading the first book in the Fitzgerald Family Series, “Slow Burn,” and absolutely loving it, and I meant it was fantastic, I was excited to get the chance to review this second book, and was not disappointed in the least! It started out the same, in that some hunky guy blasted into the life of the heroine, upending the world as she had made it. Ms. Walters has a way of creating some fantastic entanglements with touches of a history between the couple and loads of sexual tension present in their current situation. Her strong but flawed characters make it none to easy on the poor guys either :) But, on the other hand, the great wit of her females make you not only identify with them, but happy to live vicariously through them especially once you see the guy through their eyes! I also love the tight-knit family behind the heroine, and appreciated the update on the couple from Book 1 :)
I love in suspense novels, the anonymous voice that pops up from time to time, at unexpected moments, and ups the whole mystery, keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. But, I really love a plot line that makes me doubt the possibility of a happy ending from time to time.
I just have to say that E.B. Walters is a master of romantic suspense, she blends the two genres flawlessly, grabs the reader and holds them from the first word to the last.
I love in suspense novels, the anonymous voice that pops up from time to time, at unexpected moments, and ups the whole mystery, keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. But, I really love a plot line that makes me doubt the possibility of a happy ending from time to time.

This book was more than enjoyable. I was hooked line and sinker from the first page. The story was intriguing, combine mystery with a bit of history, and I was a goner. It was a ton of fun trying to guess who the bad guys were (at least I love that part in a book :P )
Vince Knight is man on a mission to solve who stole a missing artifact. From the clues he has, that brings him to Jade Fitzgerald.
The characters had quite an attraction to each other from the start. They knew each other in high school and their families are friends. Sir Knight definitely lives up to his name. I found myself routing for him during this story! I know the line, “Kick their ass!”, jumped in my head a few times. :) Jade, quite resourceful, never left her man. She stood in the middle of the action and refused to become a wall flower. She could kick butt and keep up. My kind of woman.
Vince and Jade never have a dull moment. Family secrets come to light, bad men chasing them, murders popping up all over town, blazing passion and so much more! This book is quite appealing to anyone who likes a mystery, sizzling romance, a hero that doesn't quit and a heroine who stands by her man. I cant wait to read more!
Question for Edna: Please tell me your coming out with more?! Id love to read Faith's and Eddie's stories. :)

After reading the first book in The Fitzgerald Family series, I fell in love. I love the dynamics of this family, how they are there for each other no matter what. I couldn’t wait to read the next book in the series and I’m glad I did. I loved Jade and Vince. I hope to read more about these two in future books of the series as well.
Jade has been sheltered all her life because of a health condition. Vince doesn’t want commitment, only to find what is missing. He wouldn’t mind a little action with Jade though. I loved the way these two fell in love and fought it and each other. The chemistry between Jade and Vince was combustible. The way Vince made Jade feel was amazing. The fact that he took extra time to make sure she knew how he felt and how much he enjoyed it. Since her self-esteem was in the crapper from her ex-husband, this meant a lot.
Ms. Walters brought these characters together and once again drew me into the family and made me love the all (with the exception of one bitchy cousin). I can’t wait to read more about this family and have already started book 3. Keep watching for that review next.

This book is exciting, thrilling, edge of your seat adventure and the sex is really hot too! This is book 2 of EB Walters The Fitzgerald Family Saga! Vince the can't keep it in his pants P I and the sweet and innocent Jade, who has a hear condition and doesn't even tell him, make the perfect pair in this sexy sleuth. This book has romance, danger, suspense, thrills, and really hot & steamy sex all while chasing down some lost art from centuries ago.
The author, EB Walters once again does a superb job at keeping me in my chair while listening to the audiobook! It has an excellent plot and story-line and the chemistry is out of this world! The narrator, Valerie Gilbert delivers this story flawlessly with all her different voices & authentic sounding accents. Together, these ladies made an entertaining and unforgettable story! Great job! I am excited to move on to book 3!

Ednah Walters has done it again. She has taken an INCREDIBLE story, filled it with passion, excitement, mystery and life lessons.
Jade is on her way to repair her life after her divorce and keeping her health in check. She does not want or need anything messing up her new attitude on life. When Vince comes into her life, things turn upside down. High school is not a good memory for Jade and "Vinny" making a reappearance makes life even more complicated.
You have to read this book to feel the emotions that jump out at you. Ednah Walters is an INCREDIBLE author. She sucks you into a book that keeps you wanting more.

Great story.I loved Jade in this story.She is one of my favorite heroines yet.She takes risks and isn't taking no for an answer from anybody.Even though she has a heart condition.Vince was a take charge never wanting anybody's help until Jade came along and he couldn't get her out of his system.It had lots of action in and out of the bedroom. Lol.More outside of the bedroom with all the fights and murders. The ending was perfect.Can't wait to read the next book in the series. I hope to read more about Jade and Vince in the future.

After I got through the first couple of chapters (which was somewhat hard for me) I was captivated by the characters and story. Not a bad read for a freebie! I am definitely going to have to read the others in this series!!

This book could have used some editing. Besides the obvious editing errors, there were a few words and phrases (weapons, etc.) that were very unfamiliar to me personally. Sometimes I felt like the character's words and actions didn't make the most sense. The story stretches your idea of reality.

Former military investigative reporter and current author, Vince Knight is searching for a missing family Mayan artifact upon his aunt's request. To begin his search, he must unite with Professor Jade Fitzgerald because Vince believes that Jade's mother is involved in the theft of this artifact. And on the way, they will connect with each other for one of the most erogenous relationships that bind two people together...an extremely sensual partnership. This narrative has so much suspenseful drama and carnal romance that you will not want to put this book down. Mine Until Dawn is filled with great characters. They will not only leaving you panting but also have you wanting to jump into the book to help them out. This book has it all Suspense, action, adventure and sex scenes that will leave you panting for more. Mine Until Dawn is a suspenseful romance filled with twists and turns, it is a roller coaster ride that will keep you holding on until the very end. The story line is is well paced, there are no sudden breaks in the story just chapters that move along smoothly. The characters are so full of passion. But the passion between the characters does not take away from the storyline, but adds excitement to the story. Vince will not only drive you crazy one minute, then leave you swooning the next. Jade is kind, caring and very strong willed. She is tortured but is ready to move on with her life. The attraction between Jade and Vince will leave you breathless. Mine Until Dawn id a beautiful read. The book is well written with a great plot. There is never a dull moment in this book. I am a fan of Ednah Walters for life.
