This book was pretty good. To be honest, the only reason I read this was because the main character was named Madison but I'm glad I read it! It was really descriptive and I loved the tiny details you had to spot out that made you think about it. They use a lot of dialouge but they didn't over-due it. I think people would like this book if they are willing to think about it.

This book was truly amazing. I love the special connection Ivy and Maddie had even though they weren't friends anymore.

Madison has a new assignment to do journaling for her 8th grade english class. it really makes her think. her bestest friend (in 3rd grade and 4th and 5th) promised 2 be friends forever but in 6th grade they because any mis and they dont know why. her mom tells her her mom has cancer and it casued her to change! she cot her crying (ivy her old friend) sometimes beacuse her mom but said "my bf dumped me" to cover up! did people really change and get mean cause of hard times? when she gets a jounell assignment "act as some won else" she acts as ivy and see's how hard it is!(for her mom 2 be sick) would she change if her mom was sick? VERRY GOOD BOOK taught me a HUGE lesson. I RECCOMEND IT!

In my opinion this might have been one of the best books in the series. Madison and all her friends have to keep jornals for english class. Of course, she dootles things in the margins like "Madison Jones" and 'Mr and Mrs Jones, and when she and Hart bump into eachother in the hallway her jornal goes flying and Hart see's his name in there. When i read that I felt so bad for her! Other than Hart to worry about, she finds out that Poison Ivy's mom has Brest Cancer. I guess Ivy's not as perfect as she seems.
