This revised and updated edition includes many new photos and new attractions, including the Copalis Beach Airport, where the runway disappears twice each day, the Red Caboose Getaway, a B&B offering cozy cottages-on-wheels, and “One Square Inch of Silence,” a spot deep in Olympic National Park that is off-limits to nonnatural sounds. Find updated information for the Toilet Paper Museum, the Banana Museum, the giant stinky Corpse Flower, the Walker Rock Garden, and many other unusual venues.
I picked this up at the library. This was an older edition, so some information was no longer correct, but there are newer versions available.
It gives a quick blurb about interesting places, events and people in all parts of Washington. I used it to add flags to my online maps so that when I visit a town I will remember to look certain sites up. Like the milk bottle and coffee pot restaurants.
This is a fun guide to many fun tourist attractions throughout Washington State, such as the milk bottle-shaped buildings in Spokane, the apple sorting machine at the NCW museum in Wenatchee, and the many sites to visit in Seattle and surrounding King County. There are also included several private collectors who open their homes by appointment to show you their various collections of objects. Take this book with you on your next vacation in the state.

Very good information and histories of places and curious sites and oddities in Washington state. I even learned more about places I had already visited. The historical information is well-written and excellent.
So many offbeat and interesting things to explore in the state of Washington! This book gives more options than standard travel guides and will make traveling the state a little more fun.
