Letting Go: What Letting Go Really Means and Why It's Important

Rate this book

Do others ever advise you to let go? Not always is it simple. Change is challenging, that much is certain.

We all find it difficult to let go of something, particularly when we want to, mostly out of fear. We ask ourselves questions, but we never really find the answers. In order to actively prevent ourselves from relapsing and thinking about what we desire again, letting go requires time, patience, and dedication.

For many of us, letting go is brand-new. In order to let go, we must adopt new behaviour. When we're drinking and doing drugs actively, a lot of us hang onto stuff. We continue to have doubts about ourselves, worries, wrath, betrayals, and resentments. Our ability to care for ourselves is crucial to both our physical and emotional wellbeing. How do you define letting go? More importantly, how do we go about doing it?

You may go on and never look back by understanding why, how, and when to let something go by reading "Letting Go."
