The growth of the internet and mobile phones has meant the death of one of those most typical London sights: the tart card tucked in a Gilbert Scott designed London red telephone box. I remember going on school trips to London where they were collected and swapped like Pannini football stickers. Archer's book is a window into this most intriguing piece of social history.

Bought this as research for a new book. Really fascinating - and took me back to 1980s London.
