There are many reasons why you might find this book just what you need. You might want to:
•Dress up a bed without making a big quilt
•Put away your cosy winter quilt and have a lighter Summer look
•Use a quilt that does not cover the pillows and have co-ordinating pillow-covers or cushions
Leslee provides very attractive suggestions for all of these needs plus others you might not have thought of before, such as adding a fabric band to a flat sheet or pillow-case .
Following a comprehensive introduction and techniques section, the nine ensemble projects have evocative titles like Classic, Serene and Playful indicating the variety of styles and fabrics. Most of the Runners and cushion-covers can be reversible, so that changes in bed decoration are extremely easy.
And, of course, the instructions and patterns for cushion-covers will give you ideas for dressing up other furniture in other rooms.

I really liked "Make Your Bed Classic" but the rest were not my style. It was strictly runners and other decorative items but it did inspire me for ideas for full quilts.
