If you want to cook out of this cookbook, get a kitchen scale. Every recipe is in grams.

Looks great, though. Some beautiful looking dishes - largely desserts/brunch/breakfast choices. Not so many entreés.

I've been on a scandy binge lately. Signe Johansen's books always seem to capture such an amazing story behind her recipes that just make you water at the mouth.

I didn't find many of the recipes in this book very inspiring, and so I sent it back to the library pretty quickly, without trying anything. However I have a friend who owns Scandilicious and has tried some of the recipes- apparently they aren't very clearly written or easy to follow, but she tweaked and guessed at what she was supposed to do as she went along and things turned out ok! Rather than this I would reccommend The Scandinavian Kitchen - Over 100 Essential Ingredients with 200 Authentic Receipes.
