I really like books like this: photos of the same locations then and now. I've never been to Mexico City but this is still fascinating. The monumental buildings are little changed, of course, but their environment is radically altered. Dirt roads nearly devoid of people are replaced by wide paved crowded boulevards; parking lots have been added or removed; open country has become bustling city.
