Immersive book about Egyptian mummies. Very easy to read and answered some of the questions that lingered in my mind about how these mummies were found and what happened to them. The book even goes to tell us about tomb raiders (robbers). It also deals with a little bit of Egyptian mythology. I wish the book was longer but its a good starter on Egyptology.

Probably the first book on ancient Egypt I ever read. It opened up a whole new world for me. I have since been fascinated by all things Egyptian, but especially the mummies. I am amazed that this book is still in print since I read it so long ago.
