As Jesus preached His famous Sermon on the Mount, everyone was amazed or angry. In one message, Jesus tears down centuries of religious hypocrisy. The Pharisees, with their countless "rules" are exposed for being the children of Satan and the common people are blessed.
In this book, we examine each portion of the greatest sermon ever preached and make it applicable to today. We are still surrounded by religious hypocrites and holier than thou people, who live by the letter of the law and not the spirit of the law. Jesus came to set men free, not put them into religious bondage. As we work through the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7) we begin to understand the heart of our Savior. We realize why those "poor in spirit" loved Him and the self-righteous hated Him and would spend the next three years trying to kill Him.
This book was written as a doctrinal dissertation for a PhD in Biblical Studies and is now available as a teaching tool for classes or private study.
