STEP UP!: A mini book on responsibility

Rate this book
STEP UP! is a 24-page book on responsibility. It shows how people may inadvertently take on the role of spectator when someone needs their help, or follow the crowd out of fear of losing the group’s approval. Fortunately, we have the capacity to change our ways and practise taking responsibility instead. This book shows you how. It emphasises that people need people. We need each other to intervene and help whenever we witness injustice and to stand up for each other when the need arises.

The series “BEING HUMAN” is a set of short books which explain social psychology in an engaging and relevant manner. They show how we can change some unfortunate behavioural patterns which easily arise among people by actively selecting values such as responsibility. The books are written for teenagers and the adults in their lives.
