Lia Jameson is excited to embark on the journey of a lifetime with her best friend, Addie, and the jock who's out to make her his own, Eli. There's just one catch. Alexei is no longer the only vampire eager to get his fangs on her. With Chaseyn out of the picture, Lia must try to keep Addie in the dark about her dangerous secret, while a bevy of new undead allies make every effort to help Lia journey across the European continent unscathed. Heather C. Hudak has worked as a professional writer for more than a decade. She began her career as a journalist with a small northern newspaper, before working as a movie critic for an entertainment magazine. When she arrived at work one day and the doors were locked, she started a new chapter in children's book publishing. For eight years, Heather developed and wrote dozens of books, and she edited hundreds more for the educational market. Now, she is turning a new page in her writing career. Her first full-length, young adult novel, Breathless, is now available for ebook readers. Wanderlust, a second title in the Breathless series, is currently in development. Heather will be publishing her first chick lit novel, A New Life, this spring. When Heather is not writing, she enjoys traveling to new and exotic places, as well as camping in the mountains. With her husband, Heather rescues animals that would not otherwise find a loving home. Hershey, the one-eyed, blind, epileptic, snaggle-toothed cat, and Turtle, a sternumless Siamese, are just a few members of their menagerie.

“Wanderlust” picks up right where “Breathless” stops. In fact it overlaps a few pages. We pick up with Addie, Lia, and Eli at the airport heading for Europe. A trip Lia and Addie planned prior to Lia meeting and falling in love with Chaysen. However the trip comes at a prime time when Lia needs some time away to decide if she wants to pursue a relationship with Chaysen and all that comes with him…or settle for a “normal” existence. Chaysen has enlisted Eli to go with the girls and protect them should Alexei still be stalking Lia.

I picked up “Wanderlust” thinking it was a different series. Once again it was an OK read….fast. Lots of traipsing across Europe and running into people from Chaysen’s past which made for lots of discomfort for Lia…especially running into a past love.

It still really reminded me of the “Twilight” series. I can’t think of anything new or interesting to say in this review that hasn’t already been said about Bella and Edward. Lia is as self-centered and whiny as most 17 year old protagonists. Chaysen is magnanimous and humors her childishness due to the maturity and experience that comes with living for centuries, yada, yada, yada.

I think more than anything I enjoyed it for the twist ending. I will be picking up the next book in the series to see what happens.

I have to be honest i skipped in this book. I found it was kind of tedious waiting for her to figure out that Chaseyn is a good guy and there meant to be together. I liked how Eli finally got off her back but not how Lia dealt with it. I was sad that Chip didn't turn out the way i thought she would. I don't think i'm going to read the next one probably only look at the reviews

This book was an amazing sequel to the first one!! It picked up right where the first one left off. I love the love story between Cordelia and Chaseyn, and the fact that they took a break and he still found ways to prove to her his love, was so romantic. Guess it's the hopeless romantic in me...lol. Can't wait to read the third book to find where their love story will go. Absolutely amazing!

I'm really happy that in the end that the two main characters are still together, but.... I don't like the idea of Eli and Abbie tho ...... But in the end it was a great book.
