Jarvis Clark was stunned when he was verbally abused in the elevator at work and lewdly propositioned. Jarvis is young and handsome - the PA to the boss - a man with influence and power. His accoster might be butch and ruggedly good looking, but he is part of the rank and file - how dare he make such a move!
Jarvis is left shocked, yet over the following weeks he continues to take the elevator late after work, knowing the man is likely to be there, and knowing the foul abuse he is going to receive. His life changes as questions are raised, put there in his mind by a verbal abuser - a nemesis come to life.
Inevitably, the elevator takes this handsome young sophisticated man from the glamour of the top floor, all the way to the basement where the sex is rough and dirty – where he is used and abused by an uncouth lout he comes to crave.
Why did he allow it? Only Mr. Clark can tell you that for sure. Perhaps the man saw in Jarvis something he didn't know was there himself, and having lit the fuse, he had to explode. Whatever - this is his story of how he was used and abused and knew the perverted joys of humiliation and debasement!

Jack Brighton is a British author who specialises in gay erotica with a BDSM slant. His books are widely available on all major e-book and specialist erotica sites, published by his company – Firm Hand Books. Jack was born and raised in the west of Scotland then moved to the south of England after graduating from university, living first in London before moving to the sanity of Brighton. Having forsaken the stress of working in London’s finance sector to become a full time author, Jack now spends much of his time on the small Mediterranean island of Gozo where he lives with his partner. Jack also writes under the pen names:
Fergie Boy Jack’s early erotica works were produced for a web site called Gay Boy Books, where he wrote under the name Fergie Boy. Subsequently this material was brought under the Firm Hand Books banner and is now available through the same channels as Jack’s later work. The stories are highly erotic but not specifically BDSM in nature – although in certain books like ‘Preparing the Way’ and ‘Spanked at Last’ the evolution into Jack Brighton can be seen. Fans of Jack’s work might find it interesting to see where he has his literary roots by checking out some of the Fergie Boy books. Jack no longer writes under the Fergie Boy name. However, he does write under...
Tom Farrell Having published over twenty books by mid 2011, and created a strong niche in the gay BDSM market, Jack decided to expand his reach once again. Not wishing to dilute the Jack Brighton body of work and perhaps confuse his loyal readers, or re-invoke Fergie Boy, a new pen name was created to write under. This was Tom Farrell. Under the banner 'Flaming Hot', Tom Farrell's books fall into two categories: 'Flaming Hot Gay Erotica' and 'Flaming Hot Gay BDSM'. The distinction is hopefully very clear. Both collections are softer than Jack Brighton's normal work - the 'Erotica' collection much more so. But it is still Jack Brighton - his ideas and his style. So if you like Jack's books then why not check some of Tom Farrell's work out.
I don't even know what to say. Oh wait, yes I do! Can assholes be orgasmic?
It's porn, kinky porn at that I should just go with it, right? Right.
I think Mr. Brighton may just become for me what Mr. Sketchman is to Baby. This shit right here were funnee. If I were a betting woman, I'd say this was written one handed. Yes, there are tons of SPaG errors. Who has time for spell check when you're pounding one out? Priorities, people.
What we do have is humiliation fantasy wish fulfillment. Jarvis's… good lord, I hate to say characterization but for lack of a better word… is of a stiff, upper crust, egotistical and arrogant white collar bloke who finds himself being harassed by what he eventually dubs "his nemesis" in the elevator. His nemesis tells him how he's going to plough his ass, make him beg for his big cock in every possible way in the basement. The nasty, disgusting basement that's got wet floors full of I don't even want to know what *shudders* and reeks of sweat and piss. *shudders again for good measure* Jarvis whilst clutching his pearls and murmuring "why, I never" does leave ole nemesis hanging for a month or so, but the *cough* seed had been planted and unfortunately Jarvis's boyfriend, Huw, just doesn't measure up.
Jarvis has needs and those needs are a big cock pounding into him bareback in a disgusting basement bathroom while calling his nemesis "Master" and hoping he can please him enough to entice him into a second encounter to be further debased.
He growled as he fucked and Jarvis howled in return, panting with his lust.
Seems a good bet there will be a second encounter.
Definitely not high art but I had a good time with it. I actually thought it was going to be hardcore, possibly dub-con or non-con but aside from the disgusting bathroom it was pretty tame.
A good idea. A great many errors. A great number of repetitions. A ghastly tendency toward purple prose. A gander that showcases the author yet has work to do on his writing.
Brighton is a very very dirty guy. ;) Fortunately for us. As I know him now (I have read many of his stories), I think that "His Nemesis returns" will reveal some secrets. I will read it too and I give you my feedback.
Love this, but you really have to read all three to 'get it' because there is a cunning plan behind all the excessive humiliation and degradation (which incidentally Jarvis loves as much as he hates it) The point is emphasised many times that he could back out of it at crucial moments, but he elects to stay. It's pure gay porn fantasy. Everything is over the top in size, virility, the way Jarvis's body accepts everything. Because, in a way, gay porn/erotica has as many unwritten rules as mm romance has. Every kinky box is ticked off except double penetration which is probably just as well given the size of the men involved. Yet the way these boxes are ticked is not necessarily the norm. That's one of the reasons I turn to Jack's writing when I want to indulge in the hard stuff. It is not porn without plot. There are memorable characters, usually a healthy dose of self deprecating humour and a strong story arc. So if you fancy a bit of rough raw explicit erotica, then reading all three of these is a good place to start.
I'm a big Brighton fan but this one just didn't do it for me past an o.k. rating. I just didn't engage like I normally do with his lusciously dirty work. Elements of hotness = check, a non con feel = check, but, when finished, I was kind of eh. I much prefer the Wild Side or Vorinov Books. YMMV.
On one hand, I had some serious issues with this story. On the other, I think the main character deserved the degradation and humiliation aimed at him. My problem with that? He enjoyed it. That made me dislike the story greatly.
Jarvis Clarke is an obnoxious and arrogant businessman. He works closely with the CEO of his company and feels that he's much better than pretty much everyone else on earth. At home, he has an amazing boyfriend that he doesn't deserve. He is critical and hateful and treats the other man like a slave.
Jarvis works late one evening and when he gets on the elevator, he notices another man there as well. This man immediately starts being crude to Jarvis telling him all the nasty and dirty things he (the man) will be doing to Jarvis in the dirty basement of the building. Appalled, Jarvis exits the elevator on the ground floor as quickly as he can. Each time he works late after that, the man is in the elevator and his taunts continue, getting more and more aggressive. Angry, Jarvis continues to ignore the man but inside he's becoming obsessed with the brutal sex acts that the man keeps taunting him with. He takes this out on his boyfriend at home. In other words, he uses the hell out of the poor guy. Only later does Jarvis finally agree to go down to the basement with the stranger. When he does, he gets what he deserves - in a sense. Personally I felt that he deserved real pain and not the sexual kind. I absolutely hated the guy.
I'm sure the entire point of this short is to show Jarvis being taken down to a level below his own self-professed superior one but what I saw was a total prick who got off on it. Had his boyfriend been a total bastard my opinion of this story might be different. He wasn't. He was a super guy who deserved better than what he was getting from Jarvis. I know this is the first in a series. I can't say if I will be reading the others.
This was a short quick read that was ok. Jarvis Clark was stunned when he was verbally abused in the elevator at work and lewdly propositioned. Jarvis is young and handsome - the PA to the boss - a man with influence and power. For me this book ok I am not much into the whole humiliation thing the main character was cheating on his partner. The book was rough and dirty and kinky, but I must say spitting in someone's face is just nasty and not sexy. This was my first time reading this author and the book was well written with no errors in spelling or grammar.
2.5 stars. Taunted, teased, desperately in need. Don't get it at home, I need to get pleased, even if that means getting smacked on your knees. Kiss my shoes, Master, please. Bareback is what you get. Do you want it? No. Then leave. This is a BDSM themed read :)
How my tastes have changed! I thought this was going to be so intense. Instead, it's a gritty dirty humiliating porn piece. I enjoyed it! 3.5 star. Jarvis is an uptight preppy little shit. When he's sexually harassed on the elevator at work, it sparks his slutty bottoming desires.
If you want to read some dirty humiliating sex, this is the one for you. Makes me want to read the next couple in this series. There is no romance and very little plot. There is a bit too much talk from Jarvis in his head as he tries to figure himself out. Just go with the flow, Jarvis. Drop your trousers, get on your needs, head down, ass up and take it!
2.5 In theory I thought the dirty debasement promised in book would be hot, but the reality of it...or rather the reality of reading it was more than I could actually stomach. It was everything it promised, true—rough, kinky, abusive, and at some points arousing. But I just couldn't get down with spitting in your partners face during sex, and other such not sexy things (even if the MC was a dislikable character). I may have liked it if it hadn't been taken quite so far. This is of course a personal line. But I found that this one way overstepped mine and I didn't particularly enjoy it.
So, yeah, this was part of my shopping spree of free gay erotica from amazon e-books. It wasn't that much of a BDSM story, but rather a humiliation fantasy - but who cares? The sex was kinky and quite graphic. In no way too technical or disgusting, but sometimes rather flowery. Repetions were plenty as were slips of the pen. Major plus: the sex was consensual despite the theme. I'll read another one by the author - if it's free again.
I didn't think I would like this one, but it was free. I was pleasantly surprised. It was captivating and I could get into the character's head. Even the rather unhygienic basement floor didn't put me off. Nice, rough, and delicious. In the end, I ended up buying the second and third books of the series, because I wanted to know how far the character would submit to his master's whims.
Ok Jarvis is a arrogant prick and his debasement is very satisfying. I'm normally all good with this type of play between consenting adults. Unfortunately, since Jarvis' choices also have to potential to harm an innocent party, it just left me feeling rather uncomfortable. It quite spoiled the story for me.
A good horny read. Just the right length with a good balance of story, character and sex. This is the first book I've read by Jack Brighton. I'll looking forward to the other books in the Nemesis trilogy and reading more of this authors work.
Want more! I love short stories but this one left my tongue hanging out! The nemesis is the sexiest man ever and his presence jumps through the page! Good story and not for the faint of heart or the romance enthusiast! No romance just plain old lust!
It was ok for erotica... but the character Mr Clark had too much inner speech going on for me. it kept distracting me from the actual story bc his brain would launch into a story abt the past or his childhood or his boyfriend Huw.. Btw what kind of name is they anyway?
