Nature's Pharmacy is an encyclopedia of natural remedies and nutrition towards attaining superior health. In accordance with my goals of performing professional use of alternative medicine, I see this as a helpful starter guide if entering the field inexperienced. However, a heart of the book is centered around homeopathy, which may clash with the readers personal beliefs and struggle against other core principles of medicines other individuals may hold, such as The Vital Force, "The Vital Force is an intangible, intelligent, principle of energy that is responsible for maintaining and healing the body, mind, and spirit of the individual"("Nature's Pharmacy" 286) as it synonyms with "Prana, Ki, Qi, and Mana" ("Nature's Pharmacy" 286-287) . In all, I would recommend this book for not only naturalists seeking alternative ways but even common individuals for its extreme detail in helping us all work towards healthier lives.
